So, who do you guys think Callie is? And why does Jace keep mentioning her? Well, you will find out soon enough!! On to the next chapter!!

"We're lost, just admit it Jace." Joey said as she was trying to find out where they were on her green iPhone 5c.

"We're not lost." Jace said tightening his hands on the wheel.

"Look, there is a sign, it says 'You are now in Riverside'. I have never really heard of this town."

"How not, everyone knows where Riverside is. I will give you a hint, it's in California."

"Do you know where Lacey is? I will give you a hint, it's in Washington."

"Fair enough." Jace said looking back at Joey, she was wearing his aviators, they were a little big on her face and it mirrored the outside, he couldn't see her eyes. He had to admit it, they looked good on her but they looked better on him. He scoffed.

"What's so funny?" She asked him, raising her suspicions.

He waved her off. She shrugged. He took a right. He knew exactly where he was going.

"Why did you take a right?" Joey asked him.

"Because, I know exactly where I am going now." He said not taking his eyes off the road.

"How do you that?" Jace stayed quiet at her question.

"Hey, tough guy, do you think you could try opening up to me sometimes?" Joey asked. She put her hand on his hand on the wheel. He looked down her hand.

"Sorry. I do that to my brothers some time." She said stuttering. He didn't really know what to say. Her hand on his was different. No one has ever done that to him, at least in a platonic way. It was strange, and yet comforting. He shook it off and looked at her, she looked confused as to why she did that. He looked at her with warm eyes. "She really wanted to know." He thought.

"Some one I know lives right around here." He mumbled.

"Callie?" Joey whispered.

Jace didn't respond. He didn't understand why she had to know about him? Why did she have to pry through his life? It's not like their friends! He looked over to her. He bought her clothes, he lent her his sunglasses, he was driving her through Riverside, which even Grant didn't know about, and more importantly, he started to care for her. She was his partner. She was his friend. And he was hers. He groaned internally, "How did you get in so deep?" He thought to himself.

"Jace. Jace!" Joey shook his shoulder.

"What?" He said in shock.

"Green light." She muttered.

"Oh, thanks." He muttered.

They drove in silence back to the studio. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was a little bit, but after their long day, they were both tired. Not physical, but emotionally. They were emotionally drained. They parked outside the studio and he parked in the parking lot.

"So, I think I am just going to head home." Joey said. She started to head out with all her bags and wait for Gunnar to come pick her up.

"So, um, thanks for today. I had fun." Joey said. She struggled getting her things.

Jace was caught up and didn't respond. "Hey, wait, at least let me drive you home." He said and caught her shoulder.

"Uh, okay, sure, thanks." Joey stuttered.

"Come on." He said. He followed her instructions on where she lived. She was in the city, but not completely downtown. She was far away enough to out of the city at night. Hollywood was not the best place to be at night. He was glad that she wasn't living directly in the city.

When they got there. Jace looked around and saw that she lived higher up. Behind her apartment, he could see the Hollywood sign. She had quite the view.

"So, thanks for the ride and the clothes and for driving all around with me today. Thanks for everything, I guess." Joey said stuttering and chuckled at the end.

"No problem, Joey." Jace said chuckling.

"You know, for a celebrity, you're not that bad as I thought you would be." Joey said smiling.

"Well, thank you. Not all of us are that bad." Jace said chuckling.

"Yeah, I know that now." Joey said looking down.

"Good night, Joey. See you Monday?" Jace said half hoping.

"Good night, Jace. And yeah, see you Monday." Joey said smiling.

"Great. I guess I should get going." Jace said looking down. A part of him didn't want to leave.

"Yeah." Joey said with the exact tone. She, unexpectedly, reached out and gave him a hug around the neck. Jace stumbled back into the car a little bit, surprised, but returned the hug. It was a friendly hug. He didn't remember the last time he had a hug like this. He felt like he could trust her and tell her his deepest darkest secrets.

Joey could feel him press into the hug. She knew that he could trust her and that she could trust him now. Jace was a good hugger, and Joey guessed that she missed her friends and family that, Jace, being right there was some one that she knew and could hug. He made her not as home sick as she was and trust in herself that this was the right thing to do. It was right for her to stay in California right now.

When they released each other, only a few seconds later than a hug Joey would give one of her friends. They were both smiling a little bit.

They were standing, still, very close to each other. They both said good night again and Jace left, with Joey watching him leave until she couldn't see him anymore.

She unlocked the door and went inside. She saw Gunnar, cooking in the kitchen. She placed all her bags down for a second and plopped on the couch. It had been a long day.

"Uh, Joey, how did you get home? What are you wearing? And why do you have all those bags?" Gunnar asked.

"In a minute, Gunnar. You wouldn't believe my day." Joey said exhausted, and yet smiling. She got up to put her clothes in her room, helped him with dinner, and told her crazy adventure with the famous Jace Wilde.
