Happy holidays everyone!! I will not be writing a holiday chapter, unless y'all really want one. But I have ideas for a next book that will include the holidays in them. So, on to the chapter!!

After Jace spent the night at Joey's, things for them had began to get more complicated for her. He was teasing her constantly, but always after that, he was sweet and caring towards her. It always left her conflicted and confused.

The week began to be a blur to her. They began to practice for the dance at the end of the week. Personally, Joey couldn't remember the song that they used. She was so distracted by Jace and everything that they were doing.

The week started off with the morning after Jace spent the night. Joey woke up early find the couch was empty. To find that he was in the kitchen, what she was going to do for him, cooking breakfast for all of them. He just grinned at her. Once they both ate, Joey left a little bit of food and an aspirin for Gunnar in the kitchen. Jace drove Joey to practice. And that seemed to happen more often now, when she woke up Tuesday and was leaving for practice, Jace was there to pick her up. He had done that all week.

After practice on Monday, Jace started driving Joey home. He had done that for her all week. He would ask her questions in the car about her friends, school, how long she had been dancing, and other random questions. She would answer them honestly, but she always asked why he wanted to know. He just smiled and shook his head.

Tuesday was the same as Monday, Jace driving her to practice. They practice for eight hours, tirelessly, and then he drove her home. Joey had noticed sweet he was being to her, and she was starting to wonder what was going on.

On Wednesday, Joey started talking to other dancers about Jace's behavior. They had never seen him act like this, but also, never had gotten as close as they had over the last few weeks. She talked to Grant; he told her that he hadn't seen Jace act like this before in all the years he had known him. After finding this out, she didn't tell him.

Thursday was no different for Joey, except she had started to talk more and more to another dancer, Allison Hart. They had gotten really close; they both came from different states, she was from Paradise Valley, Arizona, and were thrown into the challenge. Allison was a lot like Clare. This was nice for Joey to have a female friend to talk to. They both went out for lunch that day, and when they were finished eating and got back to the studio, Jace was there to pick her up. Joey blushed and Allison teased Joey about it. She even asked her when they became a couple. Joey shook it off and told her that they were just friends.

On Friday, after the dance, Allison and Joey went back to Joey's house. They were both relaxing in Joey's room before going to a party later that night. Jace invited Joey to go to this club, "Club XY", according to Allison, this was one of the hardest clubs to get into, and only the hottest stars go there. Plus, it was tradition to go there after the show.

Joey and Allison were excited to go. Allison already had her dress, a midnight purple cocktail dress that went to her middle thigh. It complimented her long wavy black hair and her hazel eyes.

"Great, you have a dress, I still don't know what to wear." Joey said lying flat on her bed looking up at the ceiling.

"I'm sure we'll find something." Allison said looking through her closet.

"Good luck with that." Joey said chuckling.

Allison chuckled at her. Then she gasped. She looked like something just slapped her across the face.

"What?! What is it?!" Joey asked, she was wondering if Allison was having a panic attack.

"This. This is perfect for tonight! Where did you get it?" Allison asked holding up a midnight blue cocktail dress that was stunning.
