Chapter 33: Aquafina
---------------------

I had woken up, and didn't know exactly where I was at the moment, but with the turn of my head, I sought out the sight of Romeo hunched over the steering wheel, still driving.

I sat there for a moment, with a confused look on my face, trying to figure out why I was in his car. Hearing a chuckle from beside me, I turn to see Romeo glancing over at me.

"You're awake." He said, stating the obvious.

"Oh really? I thought I was dead." I smirked, hoping he would laugh, but he only seemed to fidget around nervously. I ignored it and stared out the window. We were somewhere, that's for sure. I just couldn't figure out where, exactly. "Where are we?" I started to panic, realizing that I had snuck out last night to go see James, but didn't return.

It's probably fine. Knowing my parents, they probably think I fell into a ditch somewhere, and are waiting for me to get myself out.

"Um..." He glanced over at the review mirror. "Somewhere."

I snort at his answer. "That's what I thought." After awhile, we park in front of a old convenient store. I look over at Romeo, waiting for him to do something, but all he did was step out of the car.

"Stay in the car." He said abruptly. Glancing over his shoulder for a moment, he looked back at me. "Lock the doors, and stay in here. Don't go anywhere, Juliet. Don't follow anyone, don't talk to anyone...don't even look at anyone. Ok? Got your phone?"

"Um..yeah?"

"Good. Now stay here." He looked sternly over at me.

"Ok dad." I rolled my eyes, watching him back away slowly from the car. Once, he was inside the store, I turned around in my seat to see if there was anyone behind the car. He kept looking back over his shoulder at something, but I didn't know what.

I sighed, sitting in the car for a few minutes, before I heard a noice at the back of the car. "Hello?" I called out. "Who's there?"

I glanced back at the store, seeing no sign of Romeo. I stayed in the car, but checked every door to make sure it was locked. Hopefully Romeo's fucking expensive Lamborghini came in handy.

Maybe it was just some jackass trying to steal the car. Yeah, that's what it is. Nothing else. I nodded, trying to convince myself, but as soon as I heard a loud crack of glass breaking, I knew I had done a terrible job at convincing myself.

The back window was broken, but no one was there. The night was quiet and calm. I sat  myself down calmly, urging myself to be still. My eye twitched as I saw a gun pointed at me in the corner of my eye.

Slowly, I pivoted my head to my side of the window. There stood a girl, dressed in all black, her hair the darkest of black, her skin naturally tan; she was tall, poised and beautiful. Her eyes dark as shadows and colder than ice, watching me with amusement.

Most importantly, she had a fucking gun in her hand, pointing it directly at me.

I swallowed my fear and tried to keep myself from trembling as she spoke. "Get out of the car, sweetie." Her smile looked innocent and kind, but the glint in her eyes said otherwise.

Stay in the car. Don't follow anyone, don't talk to anyone.

I shook my head at her, remembering Romeo's words. She cocked her head to the side, raising a brow. "Get out. I'd be more then happy to shoot this bullet through Romeo's latest bitch." She spoke so calmly as if we were having a friendly conversation, and that she wasn't threatening to shoot my fucking brain out. "Come on, now. Be a good girl for mommy." I mentally and physically cringed as she spoke.
