This Heart Belongs To: Chapter 8
-------------------------------------

I manage a fake yawn and pat my hand over my mouth. "You tried that on just a few hours ago."

"And you have a better idea?"

"As a matter of fact, yes." I stood up from my seat, strolling over to stop in front of him. "Hmm." I placed my chin between my thumb and index finger, pondering. "I think...that this gray shirt goes with those jeans, and...try on this, with the white converse." I step back, and stare at my masterpiece, and god damn it was beautiful.

"Not bad." He smirked, facing the mirror before him. "Not bad at all."

"Thank you." I flip my hair over my shoulder playfully. "Now that we're finally done, let's go to the food court. I'm starving." I picked up our bags, as James went back into the dressing room to change.

He had randomly asked me to come to a party with him this afternoon, and you know how it goes. I tell him I'm a nerd that shouldn't be seen at parties. Parties aren't my thing, and not my type of atmosphere. But like always, he convinced me, more like tricked, and saying it was a requirement to be at the party. So being the good girl I was I agreed to go, but when I realized that he lied, there was no getting out of it, I already agreed.

"Hey, Juliet?" He stepped out, back in his normal attire. "Can you hand me my wallet?"

"No."

He scrunched up his face in confusion. "What do you mean, no?" He stepped closer, eyeing me dangerously. "Juliet, don't you dare tell me th-"

"Sorry, kinda hungry here." I squeaked, scrambling away from him, before sending a wink over at the cashier lady.

That's right. I had paid for him, and I knew he would be mad.

While he was changing, I went over to the cashier and paid; she was observing us from where she was and giving us tips on what went with what, and she saw what we were officially buying, so she let me pay that way.

As I was running, I nearly trip over a foot, causing the security guard to yell at me for even running. Then I stopped short, staring at the long line in front of me.

You've got to be kidding me?!

I didn't eat this morning, and it was now 12:30, my stomach was growling at me to hurry up.

"Wow." James said from behind me. "Oh well, let's go." He shrugged, taking some bags from my grip, before walking towards the exit door.

"What! B-but, but." I rushed after him, following him through the parking lot, to his car. "I-"

"Nope. Get in." He ushered me in, staring at me sternly. "We're leaving."

You're not my dad.

I mumbled not so very pretty words under my breath, as we backed out of the parking lot. I sighed, setting my head against the window, watching every single restaurant that we passed.

McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Chipotle, KFC, Runza, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Dominos...so much more that I was about to cry.

Curse myself for not eating the egg muffin in the morning. I bet Ryan's eating it. Fuck you Ryan! I mentally waved a fist at him.

Yeah! Fuck Ryan! And fuck James too! Actually you should really fuck James though.

"Ugh!" I threw my head back against the head rest.

"You ok there?" He raised an amused brow. "Is something wrong? Are you hungry?"

"No, I'm prego." I sneered, glaring at him. "Of course I'm hungry! No, no,no, I'm starving!"
