Drag Me Down: Chapter 11 continued...-----------------------------------------------------
"You say what now?" I cupped a hand behind my ear, wondering if I heard her correctly.
She letter out a sigh of annoyance. "Bitch, you heard what I said. And what happened when that waiter got in front-"
"Woah, woah, woah, woah. Woah." I place a hand up to stop her. Shaking my head, I laugh humorlessly, glancing dramatically around us. "You think he kissed him didn't you?" I let out a loud hysterical chuckle. "Now that's just pathetic. Amy, if Ryan were to be gay he would of told me by now. I'm his sister. He can't keep something like that away from me." I shake my head, refusing to believe any of it.
"What?" She snorted. "You gotta a problem if he's gay?"
"W-what?! N-no!" I stuttered, in complete shock. "I would be happy. Well, not exactly happy, but I'd be happy for him. I wouldn't judge him, if that's what you were asking."
I frown, pulling my bike off the trash can. "I can't believe we're arguing over this." From beside me, I hear Amy mumble something, but I completely ignore it. "I'm going home." I hopped onto my bike, before riding off.
I rode faster, furious with Amy's suggestion. How could she possibly think something stupid like that? If he was truly gay, I would've seen the signs, it would've been obvious, no matter how hard he tried to cover it up.
I tried blocking out everything that I saw back at the restaurant, and focus on relaxing.
By the time I got home, Ryan's car was already in the driveway.
Fuck. How did he get here so fast?
I got off, quickly and quietly making my way towards the garage. I didn't really have the courage or energy to open the garage, because with the loud sound of the garage opening, I was pretty sure Ryan would hear me by then.
Leaning the bike against the door, I jog back behind the house, trying to find the ladder through the dark. My hands finally land on the ladder leading to my balcony. I quickly climb up, making it into my bedroom just as Ryan's voice rang out.
"Ju Ju!" His voice came from behind the door. "Juliet are you in there?"
I scrambled off my shoes before slipping beneath the sheets.
Stay still. Stay still. I repeated to myself.
"I'm coming in." Taking a peek, I saw that he had already changed out of his suit, and was now wearing a Tim Tebow shirt, and shorts that were kind of small for him.
What a gay attire. The sinister side of me snorted.
Um, not really. He didn't pack much when he got here, remember, he wasn't planing to stay for long. My angelic side replied.
Look whose talking. You're lucky I didn't shove my cane up your-
Why were we created to have to sides to a brain? To me, it seems like complete chaos. It's like having an angel on one shoulder, and a demon on the other.
"Hey. You asleep?" He whispered, creeping closer to my bedside.
Quickly, I closed my eyes shut tightly, but apparently that wasn't a good idea, because he realized I wasn't sleeping.
