I'm scared

Peridot pov

"Man lapis is sure taking her time." I said as I started to tap my foot impatiently. I started to wonder what she was doing but before I could continue my thinking I felt a light tap on my shoulder. When I look to see it was it was pearl.

"Oh hey Pearl"

"Hello Peridot what happened to Lapis did she leave you?"

"No she just went to get a drink Pearl" I then gave out a little sigh.

"If you say so."

After that it became silent. I started to feel awkward a little just standing here not saying anything. So I decided to break the silence but Pearl beat me to it.

"So Peridot when are you going to confess to lapis?"

"Confess what" I knew what she meant but I decided to play dumb while blush started to creep up on my face.

"Oh come on Peridot don't play dumb with me" Pearl said a little annoyed.

"Ok ok *sigh* I was hoping to do it today but I'm starting to have second thoughts."

Pearl then raised a brow.

"I mean what if she isn't gay or worse only thinks of me as a friend and what if-"

"Ok sorry I asked but Peridot you will never know if she feels the same unless you ask."

"I guess your right" I said in a sound of defeat. I hate it when she's right.

"Ok good now bye I leave you two alone."

"Huh?" I then looked back to see lapis headed toward me.

"Hey peri sorry that I took so long." She then gave me an apology smile.

"Its fine so what do you want to do now?"

"Hmm don't know." It then went into silence.

"How about we go outside and look at the stars?" I suggest and I can use that to confess to lapis.

"Sure"

We then started to head to the direction where the door was. But while we were walking to the door lapis then stops me.

"Uh lapis is there something wrong?"

"Uh...um I just um..how about we go get some drinks!" As she said that she was looking at something.

"But you just got a drink not to long ago."

"Yeah but uh I'm thirsty again"

"Uh ok lapis also is there something bothering you because it looks like your looking at something." When I was about to turn around to see what she has been looking at. She stopped me.

"What no now come on." She said kinda nervous. But then grab my hand and lead me to where the drinks were.

Time skipped
After that lapis started to bring me around the hole house. Back and forth it seem like she was trying to avoid something. I was also getting tried of walking all over the place.

"Hey lapis can we take a break I'm kinda of tired."

"Uh sure."

When we stopped I decided to sit on the floor. Lapis did the same. Maybe I should confess now since I have the chance. When I look at lapis I noticed that she looked very tense.

"Hey lapis you ok you seem tense."

"Hm oh yeah I'm fine" lapis said while not looking at me.

"Are you sure."
