troubled (a phanfic)

Chapter eleven

Dans pov

"I'm fine..." mumbles phil before he passes out.

I quickly lean over to check his breathing and heart rate and when I'm satisfied he is okay, I ring 999.

*a few minutes later*

I end the call and curl up against the cabinets with my knees tucked against my chest waiting.

I watch phil to pass the time. His face is screwed up in pain and his breathing is laboured..I scoot over to him and smooth out the frown lines and then just stroke my fingers across his face gently. His face clears and his breathing slows down to a normal rate. It's crazy to think that this beautiful GENTLE being used to hurt me so much.

I still hate to think back on it.

I should hate him.

But how could I possibly?

His adorable laugh

His perfect smile

His sparkling eyes

The way he can make me feel like...I mean something. I smile to myself like an idiot.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door (an would they knock idek haha)

I get up on my feet unsteadily and quickly open the door.

The woman from the ambulance looks tired and stressed but she forces a smile for me. "Alright darlin? Where's the boy then?" She asks.

I point at Phil quickly and she signals two other men to bring forward a stretcher to pick him up.

They roll him onto the stretcher as gently as they can, but he still groans in pain. I twitch at the sound biting my tongue so that I won't whimper out loud. "Are you coming?" Asks the woman. "Yes..yes I am" I mumble following her into the back of the ambulance. She looked at me properly, tilting my face up towards the light. "Did they get you to? My goodness you look a mess!" I snort lightly "no offence of course" she laughs. I smile lightly and glance down at Phil. The ambulance is on a bumpy road and at every bump his faced creases up in pain. I take his hand and run my thumb across it lightly. I lean forward and gently kiss his cheek and whisper "it's okay Phil soon you'll be okay again"
