Namjoon prays that this moment will last forever.
It's morning, he sees just a crack of sunlight coming through his window. He can tell it's probably only six o'clock, but he can't check to be exact because his phone is in the living room where he left it.
Plus, Tsai is sleeping on his chest, and he doesn't want to move her.
"Thank you, God," he groans as he runs one hand into his dyed gray hair.
Tsai shuddered in her sleep, a whimper leaving her lips. Namjoon instantly rubs her back gently to soothe her, hoping she doesn't wake up for at least another thirty minutes. He can feel the goosebumps on her back, and he pulls the blanket up from her waist and onto her shoulders.
Now that Namjoon is no longer drunk, he starts to worry about last night: What if it was the alcohol that caused all this? What if Tsai didn't love him the way he loved her? What if after this, Tsai simply didn't speak to him anymore? He had to face the truth eventually, and the truth was that Tsai would leave him. Namjoon knows how jealous he is, wanting to keep Tsai to himself, knowing that there's someone out there for her, but he's scared at the same time.
"Maybe it is for the best," he mumbled to himself, "maybe she should leave me. It'll help me stop being so attached to her."
Tsai sighed in her sleep, one of her arms wrapping around Namjoon's side. Namjoon held in his breath.
"Namjoon," Tsai whispered, "why are you talking to yourself?"
Namjoon exhaled, wrapping his arm around Tsai's shoulders. "I don't realize that I do it sometimes, did that wake you?"
"No, your stomach was making some weird noises."
Namjoon laughed. Only Tsai could make such a funny statement after a long night. He loved that about her.
Tsai turned her head and faced Namjoon. She looked so raw to him - her lips still swollen and pink, her hair all messy, and her eyes and skin were bright and glowing. "Hey there, Handsome."
"Did you enjoy last night?" Namjoon asked cautiously, stroking Tsai's hair gently.
Her cheeks flushed and became a slight red as she nodded her head, soothing some of Namjoon's racing thoughts. Tsai sat up completely on top of Namjoon, stretching her arms above her head.
She knew she was completely naked on top of him, and she knew he was staring hard at her. She didn't care, though, she was comfortable with him. He was the only one she felt comfortable showing her body to.
"You're so beautiful," Namjoon complimented her, looking into her brown eyes.
"Thanks, Namjoon," she responded, rolling off of him, and laying on the other side of him. She pulled the blanket over her, and Namjoon kept his eyes on the ceiling.
"I never saw your tattoo until now," Namjoon mentioned, "it's pretty, very pretty."
"Thank you, Namjoon," she responded, closing her eyes.
Namjoon rolled onto his side and faced her, moving the hair from her face. "Would you like to eat before you go off to your dorm?"
"Yes, make me an extravagant breakfast, Kim Namjoon," Tsai grinned, her eyes still closed.
Namjoon pressed his lips to her forehead lovingly, causing Tsai to open her eyes. "You are honestly too much to handle, Tsai."
"What else did you expect from Tsai Kubo?" She smirked.
Namjoon rolled his eyes, before turning his back to Tsai and sitting up on the edge of bed so he could pull on his underwear.
"N-Namjoon," Tsai called to him.
"Yes, Tsai?" He turned his head.
Tsai's eyes were glued onto his back, and she looked like she was going to tear up. Namjoon's face twisted with confusion as Tsai covered her mouth, before laughing out loudly. Tears came spilling from her eyes as she tried to wipe them and her mouth got bigger and bigger.
"What the hell?" Namjoon asked, standing up, "Are you okay? What happened?"
"Namjoon," Tsai said, still laughing and smiling, "when you go into the bathroom to brush your teeth, turn and look at the back of your left shoulder in the mirror."
"Tsai, what did you d-"
"Go, Namjoon!" Tsai yelled at him, scooting across the bed to kiss his lips. Namjoon wrapped his arms around her to hold her close, but Tsai refused, forcing them off her. She shoved him away, shooing him to go to the bathroom, "Go to the damn bathroom already!"
Namjoon looked at her one more time, before walking to the bathroom. He pushed open the door, walking in and closing it behind him.
He turned on the lights, taking a deep breath as he tried to calm his nerves. Finally, he turned, glancing into the mirror.
"Holy shit," he mumbled, his eyes widening. He stared and stared, his eyes slowing welling up with tears as well, because he truly couldn't comprehend what was happening. His fingers trembled and his throat became tight as he sobbed in the middle of the bathroom, staring into the mirror at his left shoulder.
There, underneath Namjoon's left shoulder, was a perfect replica of Tsai's soulmate tattoo, etched into skin forever.
He could still hear Tsai jumping and laughing and screaming for joy outside the door, and he opened it, letting her in so she could comfort him. Now wearing his big T-Shirt on her body, she kissed his wet cheeks and his lips and giggled like a happy child in a candy store. She pressed her nose against his and wiped the tears on his cheeks, telling him how much she loved him.
"Say it, Kim Namjoon!" Tsai yelled at him, "Say what you always say to me! Say it for me, Namjoon!"
Namjoon hiccuped as he tried to stop crying for a moment, so he could recite the words she wanted to hear.
"Y-You belong to m-me," he stuttered, "a-a-and I b-belong to you."
