Azure~
Deep down I know these codes mean something, that they have a deeper meaning than just random numbers. With what happened on tv, that will be my first clue, the forest.
I need to go there. And Steven cannot know because I know that- this may sound crazy- but even for the owner of the most known company in the world, can not know about this.
Who knows, right?
No one does, hopefully.
I'm lying in my comfortable bed, looking up at the dark, dull ceiling. Which seems very unfamiliar to me. My arms are spread out wide across from me and my legs span my out wide in the form of a starfish.
I lay there for what seems like hours until I finally gather up my thoughts and throw myself off the bed, change into my comfortable hoodie and sweat pants.
I gather up my bag and pack my torch, some snacks, my phone and some batteries. Just in case. You never know.
Before leaving the house I make sure to lock up. As soon as I step outside, I feel the warm wind of the Autumn breeze and close my eyes and relax for a few seconds until I open my eyes once more and walk towards my bike.
I pop my helmet on my head and place my bag in the basket at the front of my bike. I check the time on my phone to find that is still very early.
4:30pm
That gives me plenty of time then
I hop on my bike and start riding off into the direction of the forest path. It's still daylight but enough time to figure out what's going on.
I follow along the footpath a few more metres until I reach the sighting where the lady said she saw the figure fall from the sky.
Really thinking about it sounds pathetic, but aliens exist, right? What's different?
Once I arrived, I hopped off my bike and leant it against a tree. I grabbed the bag and propped it on my back and started walking deeper into the forest.
Whilst walking, I realised that I should've brought someone to accompany me. This is pretty creepy right? Wandering around the middle of the forest alone, as the sun is slowly setting.
I finally arrived at the place where the lady said she saw the mysterious figure. I grabbed the torch from my bag and shone it around slowly, catching everything between the trees. I walked a bit further in when I suddenly hear someone behind me.
I immediately turned around and shone the torch towards the sound. I hear the sudden sound of someone stepping on leaves. I'm very happy that it is still daylight and not completely dark.
I take one step further "Hello? Is someone there? Because if this is some sort of horror movie I don't wanna die. Please, not today" I eyebrows come down in a fury and I am suddenly frustrated.
"Seriously, if this is a prank I'm gonna murder you" I take a deep breath out of frustration. Without thinking about it I approach the person slowly and cautiously
As I near the person, I hear soft sobs. "Hello? The person who is behind the tree, are you ok?" I walk up to the person around the tree and come face to face with a little boy.
The boy was dressed in rags with nothing warm to wear. With this weather, he must be dying outside in this weather. "Do you know where your parents are?" I reach my hand out to touch his shoulder but he steps back and moves a little further away from me.
My face softens and this time I gradually approach him and hold out my hand. "It's ok, I won't hurt you. I want to help you." I reassure him one more time. "Trust me, I'll help you"
