And then I saw it. A person plunging from the darkness of space into Earth's atmosphere. My gaze follows the mysterious figure falling, tumbling onto the ground. I stand there for what seems like an eternity, shocked. I finally get my head around the corner, I rush out of my room, descending the stairs, careful not to wake up anyone in the household.

I race down the hallway and straight through the door, forgetting to close it. I break into a sprint as I reach the outskirts of my house and as I near the forest, I slow down, take my phone out and turn on the flashlight.

Anxiously, I wonder through the dark forest lighted by the moon, when I hear groaning. I follow the voice down the path of the forest until I encounter a mysterious figure lying unconsciously on the floor. Slowly and cautiously I walk to the figure lying on the floor. I grab a long, strong stick just in case the person attacks.

I approach the person and jab the person with my stick. Nothing.

I jabbed the person again. Nothing. I tried again and again, approaching closer after every jab. When I'm a few centimetres from the person who is turned away from me, I grab the person by the arms and push them over to face me.

His hair was a luscious blonde shine in the dark forest, his lips, delicate and soft. I was looking at his features so closely that something on his neck caught my eye.

That code, I've seen it somewhere.

His eyes suddenly opened and I bounced back and held my stick out in defence. His eyes, they looked so familiar.

'JOB INTERVIEW FOR DAILY NEWS JOURNALIST' Enter at your own risk

Enter at your own risk? That's odd.

But I still walk through the entrance doors and arrive inside. Nervous, I approach the receptionist with shaky hands.

"Uhm, hi. I'm here for my job interview?" I said in a shy and timid voice. I'm not much of an extrovert. More of an introvert and very socially awkward

The lady, who was named Michelle smiled back at me. "Oh yes, what is your name?"

Trying to be not awkward, I answered in the finest voice I could without stuttering. "Oh um, my name is Azure. I booked an interview last week? I emailed it so you must have got it"

Her eyes concentrated on the laptop, finding my email that I sent here for the job interview. Subsequently, she finally saw my email and clicked on it and read through it.

"Right! I found it" There was a slight enthusiasm in her voice. "You were what we were waiting for all day! Heard you got really high university scores in journalism. Take a seat, my boss will be down soon"

I muttered her a thanks and went to sit down. I sat down and looked around. The place was a very famous building in all of Australia and one of the best daily news everywhere.

I've always wanted to get a job here. It was always my dream, and it's finally here. That is, if I get the job....

"Azure!"

I crane my neck to see that my name was being called out, I stood up and grabbed my bag beside me and followed the strict looking man into a large room with a desk and a chair waiting for me to be seated in.

The strict boss, I think, invites me to sit down which I gladly do so. He looks at me for a few minutes and when I do finally realise his stare on me, I blush.

"So are you here for your interview?" I slightly nod at him, in which he understood.

"ok" He handed me a form that I'm guessing I have to put all my details in. "So I need you to fill this form out and bring it back by next Wednesday and if it is not back by then you've lost your opportunity of being here" Today's Monday, so I have plenty of time.

I nod at him and take the form and stuff it into my bag. His strict eyes take focus on mine for the second time today "Do you ever talk? Or do you just nod" My mouth stayed shut. Mean much.

My voice came out as a whisper. "Yes, I do talk" I looked down, breaking our stare.

"OK then, you can talk, so tell me, why do you want this job" His leans his back against his chair, relaxing and waiting for me to answer.

Why do I want this job? My family is wealthy and I don't really need a job for money.

"I really enjoy and relish journalism. It's like I couldn't be anything without it. I like the fact of the activity or profession of writing for newspapers or magazines or of broadcasting news on radio or television. It makes me feel like I fit into this world. You know what I mean? I just feel like I'm more connected wth this world, like it doesn't leave me out. And I would love this job and would cherish like nothing else" I take a deep breath in, tired of my long response

I look back at him kicking off our staring contest again. His expression was full of surprise and shock.

Why is he confused. "Argh, um, hello? Are you there?" He cuts our stare off and stares out the window. With nothing to do, I stare out the window with him.

He finally breaks off the awkward silence. "You're in" His words took me by surprise. Did I hear him correctly?

"Did you say what I thought you said" The strict man looked back at me.

"Yes, you heard me right, you're in. But don't forget to send me back the form, I still need it" My hands fly over my mouth, in awe. Trying to resist myself, I jump out of my seat and run over to him and fling my hands around him, hugging him. A bit too tightly.

After realising what I just did, I take my hands back and awkwardly walk towards the door.

Once I was leaving I looked up at him one last time and realised how young and handsome he was.

Taking a step back one at a time, I awkwardy said "So, um sorry about that I was just too excited. Thanks, though, I'll get going, before anything else happens" He nods back at me and pays attention back to his work. I walk far enough away from his office until he couldn't hear me. I squealed.

I ran out the entrance of the building and somehow bumped my head on the door through my excitement.

"OW" All eyes turned to me. I blushed and continued running out the door, I drove home and entered my study room straight away.

I opened the folder and quickly grabbed a pen. When I looked down at the form then first thing I saw was out of the ordinary. A code of some sort.
