Azure~I stand there shocked at what I was hearing even though I had no idea what was going on. I quickly scramble off back to my office and take a seat at my desk
What are we going to do with her? She is starting to figure out the codes. We can't let this happen. We need to act, and we need to do it now
Taking a glimpse at Luke, realised that he is only colouring in blue "Hey Luke, what are you drawing?" He looks at me and back to the drawing and cautiously picks it up and shows me
It's a half drawn picture of an angel, in blue. A sudden memory appears in my head. It's not the mysterious figure with blonde hair, but this time it's Luke holding up a drawing of an angel, but this time in red.
Before I could capture our surroundings, I realise that I am still sitting at my desk with a pen in hand. I shake the thought out of my head but it wouldn't budge. I take my pen again and continue on with my work.
A couple of hours past when my phone alarm goes off reminding me to eat my lunch. I stand up from my desk and have a good stretch and look over to Luke to see him still drawing. I walk over to him and see that he is still putting a lot of detail into the angel
"You still working on that?" He looks up at me and nods, face still blank like a stone. "Ok then" I awkwardly walk back to my desk and grab my lunch from my bag
I grab the extra lunch I brought for Luke "Hey Luke, do you want to eat? I brought some lunch for you" He looks up at me once more and slowly walks over to me, grabs the lunch I gave him and sits back down at his desk
I quietly eat my lunch while doing work on my computer. After 45mins, I finally finish eating and put away my lunch. I then realised that I haven't checked the code I saw on Steven's waiter's neck
I concentrate my eyes on the screen, blinded by the brightness and type in the code that I remembered #FBB917
Once I searched up the code, the colour was unexpected. It was golden yellow. But the other codes that I've seen are all blue. That's odd
I hear a knock on the door and suddenly look up too see Steven enter. I quickly closed the tab and looked up at him innocently. "Hey Steven, how you going?" His eyes concentrated on mine "Didn't I tell you to keep the door open? Remember makes us all feel connected" Steven over exaggerates the all
I grin up at him and give my best excuse "It was cold outside so I closed it?" He raised an eyebrow in my direction
"Really? Worst excuse ever. Naked Truth please" My head slowly went down but I looked towards Luke's direction to indicate why. I gazed over and was surprised that Luke was scared, then I noticed Stevens stare on Luke's. But his face wasn't all happy and he wasn't grinning what's so ever.
His face was of astonishment. Like he was confessing something he was hiding all along. I flash my eyes between them both, taken back by their expressions
"Are you boys ok? You look a bit astonished to see each other" Steven moves his head towards my direction but still has his gaze on Luke "uh, no. No, not at all." I knew at that exact moment that I needed to know the naked truth, but I kept it to myself
My attention was suddenly on Luke, but when I looked back at where he was sitting, he has disappeared. I then realise that he is behind me. I turn my chair around and see him in the corner, still staring at Steven, but this time scared.
"Luke? Are you ok? What's the matter" he simply points up to Steven and says "Him" in the lowest whisper possible but I was still able to make out the words he was saying
Steven then takes one step closer to me and Luke starts bursting into tears and suddenly says words that I don't understand
"He did it. He was the one who did it. It's all his fault" I tilt my head in confusion "What do you mean Luke? His my boss"
I was waiting desperately for him to answer when he puts his hands to his face and starts crying even more. I bend down on my knees to comfort him but it doesn't work, but as a person who lives alone with no siblings, does not know how to comfort people, especially children.
"Um, it's ok Luke. I think you have mistaken him for someone else. Why don't you go back to coloring your angel. Ok? " He nods at me, still sobbing.
Cautiously, he walks back to where he was sitting, avoiding Steven as he walks by, whilst squeezing my hand while I try not to die. He sits back down in his seat to find his picture gone. My eyes lift up to find Steven holding the drawing, this time scared. My eyes frown in confusion by I try not to over react
"Steven, you have Luke's drawing, you mind giving it back?" His eyes were still filled with fear and horror "Steven are you alright there?" Instead of answering my question he turns his attention to Luke
This time, his voice is filled with anger "Luke, what are you doing here?" Bells ring in my head "WAIT,-" They are suddenly looking at me "-you two know each other? What?! Woah, what a coincidence, and Steven please explain to me why you are acting so strange and also what's with the 'What are you doing here' to Luke, like are you guys mortal enemies or something? And one last thing, Steven, naked. Truth" a let out a deep breath from the long rant I've been meaning to let out for a while now
I look up to find Steven's expression taken back "And no excuses this time ok? You suck at lying, even the dumbest people can tell so" He inhales then exhales deeply
"One thing, is that I have mistaken his for someone else" I frown in agitation "What?" I respond to him. Steven makes eye contact with me one last time. "I don't know him" And before I could answer, he was out of the door. But I knew there was more than just that. What happened here needed to be explained
