"This dress looks great on you," CeCe said as I tried on a blood red dress.

"Yeah, it does. Look at your boobs!" Thomas exclaimed.

The dress was strapless and came to my knees. It was tight, but I could breathe. I did a turn and bit my lip.

"I can wear my black wedges, and the garnet necklace my mom gave me would look good. I think I'll get it," I said.

"Good, get changed so we can leave," Thomas said.

I went back and changed back into my jeans and sweater and walked back out of the dressing room. "Okay, let's go," CeCe said. She'd already picked out a purple dress with a sheer purple over wrap.

I paid and left the mall. "You want to go to Starbucks and get a coffee?" I asked as we walked down the sidewalk with our shopping bags in our hands.

"Sure, then we can go back to mine and watch Disney movies while you help me study for English and history and I'll help you with math and biology," she said.

"And both ya can help me with all of it," Thomas interjected and we laughed.

After we got our coffee and put The Little Mermaid in CeCe's DVD player, we started studying.

At around 8:30, we ordered pizza and took a study break to watch the last half of Pitch Perfect. Then we continued to study, mainly because I forced CeCe and Thomas to study with me.

It was 2:17 when we finally went to sleep.

~~~~~~
At about 6:30 Saturday afternoon, CeCe and I started to get ready for Kelly Moore's party. Thomas had gone home at around 3:30 so he could nap before he got ready. Such a lazy boy, but we love him.
She pulled my hair up and used a set of red combs top hold it in. She gently curled my hair and smiled at her work. She then applied light make up, a little concealer, foundation, light pink lip gloss, a little eyeliner, and two costs of mascara.
She smiled at me, "Perfect!" she sing songed. "Now, go get dressed so I can do my hair," she said. She was already dressed and had her makeup done. "If you ruin your makeup or your hair, I will kill you in your sleep, Jessabelle Marie," she threatened.
I chuckled, "Yeah, yeah." I said and got dressed. I smiled at myself in CeCe's floor length mirror. I had to admit, I felt really pretty, which was a strange occurrence for me. It's not that I think I'm ugly, I just know I'm not the prettiest girl out there, I have to be realistic with myself.
"Woah," Thomas said, stepping into CeCe's room. His eyes were trained on me, his jaw dropping. "What did you do to her, CeCe?" he asked, looking me up and down. He poked my arm, as if he were looking to see if I was real or not.
"I made her irresistible," CeCe chuckled, applying lip gloss. She closed the lip gloss and pulled the cap off her eyeliner, starting to give her eyes a winged look. She then started giving herself smoky eyeshadow before she went back to fixing her eyeliner.
"Is it bad? Is it too much?" I asked as I bit my lip, my confidence floating away as I looked myself over in the mirror. Maybe I was showing too much skin. Would people think I'm a slut for showing this much skin?
I looked over at CeCe, she was showing more skin than I was, but she could pull it off better than I could. She looked so comfortable in her own body, her own skin, and why wouldn't she? She's beautiful.
"Jesse, you look magnificent. Every straight guy there will want you," Thomas said with a reassuring smile. I looked him over. He was wearing a pair of red skinny jeans with a black button up and black high tops, along with a red scarf. His dark, almost black, long, curly hair was covered by a red beanie
I sighed, "Okay, let's go, before I change my mind," I said and rubbed my hands up and down my arms. I hoped it didn't get too cold tonight, seeing as I didn't have a jacket and my dress was strapless, and short. This dress was screaming bad idea the more I contemplated it.
"Wait, wear this," CeCe said, handing me her leather jacket. I slipped it on over my shoulders and smiled. "And these, don't want you to freeze," she said, handing me a pair of fingerless black lace gloves and a pair of knee length black boots. "'Kay, we're ready to go!" CeCe exclaimed, popping the lid back on her black eyeliner pencil and wrapping her wrap over her shoulders as I slipped on the gloves and changed my shoes, feeling much better. She then lead Thomas and I out to her black mustang GT and we all got in, her parents are kind of loaded, so she's got a lot of nice stuff.
Once we reached Kelly's house, it was 8:30. An hour and a half after we entered the house, I had officially lost CeCe and Thomas, and was still sober. I had found Portia, a girl in my Biology class, and we talked, but it was more than a little awkward.
I excused myself from Portia, saying I needed to get another drink, and made my way through the crowded house and found the kitchen. I grabbed a red plastic cup of orange juice, the drink I'd been drinking all night, and took a drink.
I choked a little, and knew that the contents of the red cup was not just orange juice. After I'd composed myself again, I walked up the winding staircase, in search of the bathroom. I was pointed in the right direction by a guy when I walked into a room, which I was glad he seemed to be alone and I hadn't walked in on anyone having sex.
Once I was finished and had washed my hands, twice, I picked up my cup and walked to the balcony that overlooked the dark mahogany front doors. I was staring at the pretty chandelier that hung above the large foyer when a movement in the corner of my eye, grabbed my attention.
I looked down and saw a boy with blond hair standing there in the doorway. He was in all black, except his white shoes, and I was ninety-nine percent positive I had never seen him before, but I felt like I'd known him my whole life. He looked up towards me, and our eyes met, and his shined like stars the color of rich honey.
This is how I imagine people who believe in love at first sight feel. Blondie held up his right hand, waving slightly, a small smirk on his pink lips. I bit my lip, looking down as I blushed, realizing I'd been staring at the boy. I was about to wave back, but when I looked up, he had disappeared, much to my disappointment. Of course, he left, it's not like I'm anyone special, and he doesn't even know me, he's probably here for his girlfriend, anyway.
