When we made it back to the Five-O headquarters, I took my duffle bag into the bathroom and cleaned up. I changed into a clean black long-sleeve shirt and black cargo pants. I tore a piece of cloth from my old blood shirt and tied it around my arm. After I cleaned up, I walked out of the bathroom and then into the five-o headquarters. I saw 3 other people next to Danny and Steve, a rather fit tan Asian man, a beautiful thin women who looked like the other man and a tall, rather large black man.

"So this is the Bryce Dent we have heard so much about," the black man said as I put down my duffle bag.

"Bryce this is Captain Lou Grover," Steve said putting his hand on Lou's back.

"I like the shirt," I said shaking his hand and looking at his blue Hawaiian shirt.

"And this is Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly," Steve said gesturing to the Asian man wearing a red shirt and black pants.

"Pleasure," Chin said shaking my hand.

"And last but not least, Officer Kono Kalakaua," Steve said to the only girl in the room wearing a black tang top and blue skinny jeans.

"Nice to meet you, Bryce," Kono said, "Sorry to hear about your partner. How is she doing?"

"Still in surgery," I said, "But she has been through worse."

Before Kono could ask me another question, my phone went off. I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was my wife, Brooke.

"Shit," I mumbled looking at my phone, "One second. Hey babe."

"Hi darling," she said, "I just put Nadia asleep and figured I call since it would be, what, 1 pm in Detroit. So how is it there?"

"Oh you know," I said looking at the Five-O task force, "Cold."

"Is Nora by you," Brooke asked, "I wanted to ask her opinion on what I am to do with the kitchen?"

"Since when are we redoing the kitchen," I said.

"I was going to surprise you," she said, "But, well, Nora was going to help me and since you guys decided to go on this surprise Detroit trip. I figured she was going to tell you sooner or later. You know how she is with keeping secrets."

"Look, babe," I said, "We are still trying to pay off the hospital bills. How the hell can we afford this?"

"This bills got paid."

"Who," I said, "Oh my god. It was your parents again wasn't it?"

Brooke didn't speak.

"Brooke," I whispered, "I told you. I don't like it when your parents pay for shit. It makes me feel bad."

"It's done already, Bryce," Brooke said, "So, are you going to let me talk to Nora or not?"

"She is--uh," I said looking at Steve who just shrugged, "Out right now. Went to visit her old partner. Don't know when she will be back."

"Oh, well. I will try later. Go off now and have fun. Bring me back something nice."

"Will do," I said, "I love you. And kiss Nadia for me."

"I love you too," Brooke said, "Bye-Bye."

I hung up the phone and then looked over at the Five-O team.

"Lying to your wife," Lou said, "You just broke rule number one of marriage, brother."

I rolled my eyes and put my phone in my pocket, "She'll forgive me."

"Mm," Lou said looking back at the TV screen in front of him.

"Alright Bryce," Steve said, "Tell us about the guy that shot your partner."

I took a deep breath and then asked, "Do you any of you remember the London Attack that happened, about 3 months ago?"

"Yeah," Chin said typing on the huge pad table in front of him, "The attack that occurred on the London PD building."

On the screen in front of us, there were headlines, that read "LONDON IN SHOCK." "POLICE ATTACKED." And images of after the bomb when off and destroyed our headquarters.

"That attack killed a dozen good police officers and injured over half the staff including my partner and myself," I said, "Nora and I were put on the case as soon as we were released from the hospital. We went back through everything. Security footage from across the street, what video was left from the HQ and all eye witness accounts of what happened. Through that we were able to determine that the man who did the attack was Carlos Martinez."

I looked at Chin who had pulled up an image of a well built Mexican man who was bald.

"Martinez is wanted by Interpol, MI5 and even your CIA," I said crossing my arms.

"So didn't Interpol take over this case after you guys named the attacker," Danny asked looking at me.

I remained silent and looked toward the TV screen with Martinez on it.

"I am going to take that as a yes," Danny said.

"Alright, so technically yes, Interpol kicked us off the case, but we couldn't well get up and leave, we were too involved and too deep into the case. We had to find Martinez, but the problem with finding him is that he moves around a lot and we couldn't pin point the exact location of him until..."

I took a deep breath and said, "Until he kidnapped my pregnant wife."
Steve and Danny looked at each other.

"I met him in an abandoned warehouse area. No cops. No back up. Just me, him and my wife. Little did I know that Nora had followed me there, and well in short, it ended with me being shot, Martinez escaping and at the end of the night, I was a new father. A week had passed before we found him again and at by that time he was out of the country."

"How the hell did he get on an international flight if he is wanted by Interpol," Steve said, "Even a false identity couldn't get him out."

"If I had to bet, he probably paid off a private air pilot, flew here and landed on your many abandoned airports," I said, "Just a guess though."

Danny raised an eyebrow and then said, "Pretty good guess. So, why come here?"

"He knows that he is cornered," I said, "He goes to people that he will trust. People that will hide him."

"And these people are," Lou said.

"There are just two that Nora and I are aware of," I said, "The first person is by the name of Melina Hanna, his aunt. And then an old university mate by the name of Jason Garcia."

"Alright well," Chin said typing away at the table in front of him, "Ms. Hanna lives just three miles from here and Jason, about 5."

"Okay," Steve said, "Bryce, you and I and Danny will go talk to Jason. Kono and Lou, you got the aunt."

"In the mean time," Chin said, "I will work with Interpol to see what more we can pull on Carlos."

"NO," I said.

Everyone stopped and looked at me.

"Sorry," I said, "But if you begin asking questions about Carlos to Interpol. They will get involved and Carlos will then know we are on to him."

"Well he already knows that you are on to him when he shot your partner," Steve said, "He made a statement. He knows your here to look for him. The more we got on this guy. The better chance we have on catching him."

I let out a sigh and then said to Chin, "If you are going to contact Interpol, ask for Agent Judy Star. She is an old friend and will keep the information away from her bosses and mine."

"Got it," Chin said.

"Alright," Steve said, "Let's find this son of a bitch."
