Current statues at the moment; tied up and pissed as hell. You see the team had a mission and a group was sent while I stayed behind because apparently I wasn't needed. I was just chillin at the cave my nails in mid dry when an alarm went off signaling that someone was trying to enter the cave from the bay doors. Well being curious i took a different way outside and made my way to said doors only to be knocked out by someone. And that leads me to my current state.
All though these dumb asses must be new at this because they didn't even take off my utility belt. I have yet to see who said kidnappers are but they were in for a new one when I got these cuffs and ropes off. Wiggling a little more I was released fully and stood up. Hit with a head rush I held onto the wall, ya they got me good. Not a concussion but dang that hurt. Walking towards the door I grabbed the handle jiggling it. Locked.
Pulling back I kicked the door successfully opening it. Running out I started to recognize the hall way but only slightly. My running slowed as I passed a door and I was instantly petrified. This wasn't happening. No not again. This is just another bad dream I know it.
Scanning the hall I ran farther recognizing the path that I took the first time I escaped. Bolting into the open area if saw something that I hoped to never see again.
In front of me blocking the door was black Beatle with him was the reach ambassador and at least 30 guards.
"Hello earth hero." The ambassador spoke regularly but his time held an evil undertone. "We've been waiting for you to awaken."
"What do you want?" My voice was slightly shaky but I stood my ground.
"You of course." He smirked at me. "One of the keys to taking out your band of super powered nuisances is to kill one of there own first and make them suffer. They will be so distraught after your death that they won't even know what to do with themselves." His words angered me to the point were all I saw was red. "And look I even have a little camera to record what's happening. They'll receive it once your dead." He monitored towards the camera in the corner that could see the whole room. "It seems that a lot of my colleges are scared of you. All though I don't see why everyone is so afraid of a little girl. What can you even do?" And that's when I snapped. I wanted revenge and I wanted it now. No one was here to stop me if I tried to kill them. No one. So why not, I mean they kept me in this hell hole for three years. They deserve it.
"You wanna see what I can do huh?" Setting my feet I let a blood curdling scream rip in there detection throwing every single one of them into the far wall.
There faces were shocked but fear struck then when they saw my eyes. They were red as blood but lucky for them my claws and teeth had yet to show.
"You should have listened to your colleges when you had the chance. Now your gunna die." My voice sounded almost demonic with the low growl that was present when I talked.
"kill her. NOW!" His men ran at me quickly weapons held ready to attack.
The first few were taken out by well executed kicks and punches and this was how the fight paned out as they swarmed. Finally I disabled the last guard till it was just the three of us.
"I see I have underestimated you. Well so be it you shall still die today." Motioning with his hand Beatle ran forward. Bringing his hand down were I was he smashed the ground, I only narrowly dodged getting crushed. Jumping up I sent a roundhouse kick to his head knocking him back. He recovered quickly and sent a punch that I reacted to late to move. I was sent back into the cement wall and slid down it. Dazed I stood but not before I was picked up by the back of my neck and smacked back into the wall over and over again. Finally dropping me I curled up as a kick was sent to my ribs. Turning my head I canary cried right at him sending him back.
"You know meat, you remind me of one of my old play things. She ran away though. Hmm maybe I'll keep you instead." His voice send chills down my back as I tried to stand. Wobbling a bit I glared at him. A feral growl left my lips as I let my teeth and claws show. His eyes widened a fraction but non the less he charged at me. Expecting this I punched him straight in the gut after ducking away from his arms. Punching the pressure point in his shoulder I disabled the moment of his right arm. Grunting he swung his other but I did the same to that one. He let out an angry roar but I just danced around him till I reached his back jumping up I punched his temple knocking him out. Hopping down as he fell flat on his face I slowly walked towards the man who made everything bad in my life happen. I was a predator and I was stalking him like he was my pray. He was cowered back as I approached him.
"You are free to go." He tried to barged but really I held all the chips.
Smiling at him sweetly I slowly sashayed towards him. "But that's the thing, I haven't gotten to kill you yet." My voice was so sweet as I said it but his eyes held pure terror. Dropping the act I let my eyes blaze and bared my teeth at him. Lunging forward I grabbed him by the throat holding him suspended in the air.
"M-monster!" He stuttered it out waisting his last bit of air.
"Oh you haven't even seen a monster yet. Now what am I going to do to you today. Hmmm burn you, cut you, oh maybe I'll break half the bones in your body and then kick you senseless. I mean isn't that what you do to girls?" He was close to tears and his face was turning an odd color as he gasped for oxygen. Dropping him to the floor I back up a little pacing around him.
"Pathetic," I sneered kicking him in the stomach.
Stepping over him I lent down pulling my clawed hand back I got ready to bring it forward to deliver the final blow but I stopped a centimeter away from his neck. Staring at my had for a moment I finally pulled back. Shaking my head I kicked him once in the face finally knocking him out.
"I'm not a monster. You are." I said it softly as I left the compound. Turning towards the woods I ran through them at a quick pace just I case they woke up and decided to track me.
After an hour of running I felt in my utility belt for my communicator irritated with myself for not thinking to use it earlier. Calling Dick it was answered on the first ring.
"Tweety! Hello! Is that you!" His voice was frantic as he spoke into it.
"Ya babe it's me." My voice cracked when I finally heard him. "C-can you come get me." I was close to tears when I finally got the sentence out.
"Where are you I'll be there right away!" He sounded so crazed that I honestly had no clue how Lin I was gone.
"I'm an hour east of the compound blue and wonder girl found me at." I said it in an almost whisper but the bang I heard was most likely him punching a wall.
"I can't believe I let them get you again," He sounded so broken. "I promised you and I broke it. I'm so sorry Charlie."
"Dick it's not your fault. It's there's and all that matters is that I'm ok now and I'll be home soon." As I said this the bio ship flew above me landing in front if me. "They got here fast," I said surprised.
"I had a team in the area, we've been searching for you the past two days."
"Babe I'll talk to you when I get back ok. I love you."
"I love you too."As he spoke I ran into the ship greeted by Megan who tackled me in a hug. Gar was wrapped around my waist and superbly was wrapped around all of us.
"Don't ever scare us like that again." Connor whispered into my hair Megan and Gar nodding in agreement. Coming out of the hug we all took our seats and silence took over the room.
We landed only 5 minutes later and as I steeped into the cargo bay I was swept up into a hug as lips meet mine. Smiling slightly I knew who it was.
"I love you so much. I'm so sorry they got you again Charlie." He
Sounded torn. Hugging him to me I nuzzled his neck.
"I'm ok. So everything is goi-" I was interrupted by another alarm. Both our heads shot up as the ambassador popped up on the screen. He was bruised as bloody and everyone turned to me when they saw his current state. The men behind him were not much different. Beatle was still knocked out on the floor and the men were trying to prod him awake.
"Hello earth hero. It seems you have survived but I thought I would send this to your team so they can see what a monster you are." Scoffing at his attempt to turn them on me I sat back in Dicks arms getting ready to watch. The scene played out and showed me beat them all. It was at the point were I was being rammed against a wall that his arms tightened on my sore stomach. Wincing slightly I felt him release me a bit but only to rub soothing circles on me. Finally the ending came were I was ready to slash his throat but I stopped. My eyes in the video made contact with the camera and I was almost scared of myself. My face was feral almost and I had an evil look that I did not like. The red eyes didn't help the situation.
"As you can see there is a monster in your midst."
"Ok shut the fuck up." Megan finally blurted but her hand covered her mouth when she noticed how se said it. We all stared open mouthed at her blushing figure. My laughter broke through the silence as I almost fell of NightWing. Everyone soon joined in.
See this is how our little family is. Were crazy and laugh in the face of someone who accuses us of being monsters. Yes we are a little dysfunctional.
