"Introducing for the very first time! I give you Mr. And Mrs. Dick Grayson!" Loud cheers were heard around the room as we walked in dancing to our seat u was spun as we twirled gracefully and did cheesy little dance moves as I waved my bouquet crazily. Once we were seated I couldn't stop smiling.
As the crowd quieted down Dick started to speak.
"Hello everyone, I'd like to thank all of you for coming today to see me and Charlie get married. It means a lot to the both of us. I'd add more to this speech but I think my best man is dying of starvation at the moment so let's just get straight to the food part." The crowd laughed while Wally whined about being made fun of but was still the first to the food table berry was a close second hind him followed by Bart. Psh speedsters and their appetites. Everyone ate and chatted while soft music played in the back. While they were eating the speeches started. Artemis took a mic off of the front table from the DJ and walked back to here spot at the table.
"Hi everyone, so Roy didn't want to do a speech even though he is the maid of honor so I will." Artemis stated into the mic. "Now I would swap some very embarrassing story's about her but half of then involve me so I will save myself the mortification and just congratulate her on bagging on of the most wanted men in America," leaning over I knuckled bumped her.
"That's what's up," I said nonchalantly.
"You guys talk about me like I'm a piece of meat," Dick grumbled making me and our audience giggle. Kissing his cheek I got a smile from him.
"Now I'm going to pass the mic off to Wally who I hope actually planed a speech," she teased her boyfriend who's eyes widened as he gulped down his last bite of food. Patting his. Pockets his eyes got even bigger.
"Well for your information Arty I did plan a speech..I just uh left it at home so..."
"Dude seriously," Dick stated. "I helped you write that one," I snicker but acted like it was a cough when the two men sent glares my way. Whistling innocently I turned and looked away.
"Ya but I spilt coffee all over it, what ever I'll just wing it. Hi everyone... Dick here has been my best friend since we were just beginning puberty. I listened to him moan and groan about how much he liked Charlie here for the longest time. So thank you char for finally making him stop complaining. " snagging the mic from Wally I stood. Dicks cheeks were a bright red as I looked at him. Being the amazing wife that I am I stopped his embarrassment.
"Ok how about we just start the dancing hm how's that sound," raising an eyebrow at Dick he hastily stood up.
"Yes dear," smiling I took his hand and walked to the dance floor where the first dance started. The song was the acoustic version of Flaws by Bastille. (Seriously listen to the song it's amazing!) Placing my head on his shoulder I looked up at him.
"You know this is perfect," I mumbled as we swayed to the music. Flashes of cameras were all around us but we paid them no attention.
"Your perfect,"
"Your cheesy-" before I could finish the doors to the entry bursted open. About 3 masked men ran in with guns pointed everywhere.
"Oh hell no," I whispered detaching myself from Dick. A few women screamed as the men ran in.
"Well what do we have here," the first one drawled out cockily. "The prince and princess of Gotham getting hitched, and some of the wealthiest people in the world decided to attend, where's my invitation,"
