ONCE UPON A TIME [Poems]

I dedicate this poem for the man who loved me first.

"I miss you, every single day papa. The pain that I'm feeling hasn't subside even a bit. I miss your voice. I miss how you laugh at my silly jokes. I miss how you carry me like a sleeping-child. And how I miss having a great father, a father that I can never ever have, again. My life will never be the same. I feel like I'm a lost-puppy, needing a parent's love and care. I will be strong papa, I'll try to be strong. Though this pain is sometimes unbearable, I will not give up. For you, I'm a tough girl, you always teased me that I act like a boy way back I was a kid, but when you saw me growing up; being a lady, I saw how afraid you were that your Princess might forget you. But that will never happen papa. You will always be my one and only King. I'll see you papa, maybe not so soon. And when that time comes, I will surely tell you lots of stories; funny, sad but more of happy memories. I love you, always, papa. ♥"

"MY SUPERMAN, MY DADDY"

A Superman that's what he is for me
He'll do everything he can to make us feel very happy.
A Superman that's what he is for me
He'll try to solve our problems and keep us worry-free.

A Superman that's what he is for me
And I'm a greatest fan, I want him that to see.
I never expected that my Superman will fall
That our Creator will take him after all.

Though my Superman is gone to a better place
His memories will never be replaced.
He's not perfect, but he's my super-hero
And I'm tough just like him too.

There are times I can't help but cry
When I think of him, just like tonight.
I promise him that I'll be brave always
I'll wake-up every morning with a smile on my face.

My Superman, you're my strength
You're a gift that Heaven sent.
But now that Heaven is the place where you belong
We'll see each other, maybe not so soon, but not that long.

I want everyone to know
That my father is the only Superman I saw.
