"FAIRYTALE TO REALITY"

I was once living in a fairytale

Though our castle was not uphill

for my fairytale was in a modern way

and my breakfast was not served on a silver tray.

The King was my father

The Queen was my mother

I have a sister and a brother

we were living our happily ever after.

But the King went to another Kingdom

The Queen met another man

Our fairytale turned into a nightmare

that made our life a sudden disaster.

The King was sick

it made our Kingdom weak

The Queen used her husband's money

and with that other man they ran away.

When the King died

I have no place to hide

To hide from the pain that I'm feeling

If only, if only I am only dreaming.

But every time I woke up from that sleep

I am facing reality and memories are all I can keep.

It's hard living in this real world

a world I've never been told.

Before, I get whatever I want to

But now, working for it is what I do.

Reality is not easy

especially when I feel alone every day.

When a Knight in Shining Armor came

he showed the light from my life of dim.

He gives me hope and showed me I can

and that reality can also be fun.

I thank God for He gave me my Prince

A Prince who a purpose of my existence.

I will never know what tomorrow may bring

but I know I can shot every goal with a sling.

Life itself is the most wonderful fairytale

a fairytale that is worth to tell.

I may not have a perfect ending

but I always believe that in every ending is a new beginning.
