"For the special we have a nice chicken almond salad sandwich with a baked potato soup" the waiter kindly said, pointing to the menu, "one of our most popular dishes."

"Oh that sounds good!" I pointed out and shut the menu, "I'll have that."

He took the menu from my hand and held it under his arm. He clasped his hands together and turned to Brook, "and you.... Uh.... Sir?"

"I'd like some tea, it smooths my skin," he placed a hand on his cheek bone, "ah! ..... I don't have any," he then went on to laugh.

"Right," the waiter said, giving Brook a look before grabbing his menu and tucking it under his arm with the other one, "I'll be right out with your order."

The waiter turned on his heel and strutted back behind the counter. I stifled a laugh and turned to look at Brook who was already looking at me.

"I was wondering..." I trailed off, fiddling with my hands, "never mind."

He looked at me and said, "if you don't ask, then you won't get an answer. You can trust me," he placed a hand on his chest and leaned a little closer.

I sighed, "do you poop?"

There was a silence, and then; "No,"

"Then what happens when you eat?" I asked, completely serious.

He opened his mouth to answer but then I held a hand up, stopping him, "never mind. I don't want to know."

"Red-san," He said, I looked up from my drink, "is Reeth-San not coming off the ship?"

I shook my head and swallowed the water, "the cold makes him week cause it rebels his fire," I explained.

"Ah, I see," he nodded.

A plate and a bowl were set down in front of me and only a fancy cup of steaming green tea was placed In front  of Brook.

"Your food, madam," the waiter said gesturing to the plates he just put down, he smiled at me which made me cringe slightly.

"Oh thank you sir, but madam isn't necessary, yohohoho," Brook laughed and waved a hand dismissively at the waiter as if bashful. I giggled slightly and the waiter flushed before walking off.

"Thanks Brook," I smiled at him.

"For what?" He asked seriously.

I looked at him for a second and then only laughed, "Never mind."

I started with the sandwich first to give the soup a chance to cool down. The sandwich was just the perfect mixture of crunchy and creamy. It was definitely on my list of best dishes eaten, though not higher than Sanji's.

Brook and I sat in silence mostly, him occasionally taking a drink of his tea. We did however laugh at how the waiter often moved into our line of sight and tried to catch my eye. Of course I ignored him and Brook thought the waiter was flirting with him. After being turned down by Brook maybe three times the waiter just stayed away.

"So, you wanted to go ice skating?" I asked him, stacking my bowl on top of the plate and setting it to the edge of the table.
