"You can't just have me until someone else comes along and then dump me by the roadside. It doesn't work like that Rye." Maya's voice rose in volume as she said her goodbye speech.
"Maya, I swear, I didn't mean it!"
"Well you should've thought about it, before you went off with her. You clearly don't want us to be anymore Rye, forget about it, just like you forgot about me. Forever, no more."
Then she ran from the room, crying for the love Rye had just destroyed. Shaking slightly, with no idea what she was going to do next, she pulled her phone from her pocket. Her phone hovered over the text button, but who to text. Normally, she'd call Rye and he'd make everything better, but he was at fault. It would just destroyed her more. Instead, she pressed on Olivia, her older sister, she'd know what to do.
She typed out a quick message looking up quickly to check the road before she crossed.
I need you meet me near the flat soon...

For Rye, watching her go from the flat window, it was heartbreaking, seeing the person he needed most walking away. He thought his life could never get worse, until he saw it rounding the corner, an innocent car, but Maya hadn't seen it, she'd been texting, probably getting someone to pick her up.
"Maya!" He screamed. But she couldn't hear him.
It was too late, and it was all his fault...

So how do you like the first chapter? For some reason my phone keeps autocorrecting Rye into The, which is really annoying.
