Breathe For You

Tears pouring down her cheeks, the look of anguish on her face mirroring all those around her, Hannah sprinted through the halls, past the signs trying to get the smell of antiseptic out her nose.
Finally she juddered to a halt as she saw the one thing she hoped she wouldn't see. The tears fell in waves so large it was like a flood that finally burst it's barrier. She ran to the door, only to find a group of nurses blocking her way.
"I'm sorry but we can't let you in there at the moment. Only immediate family allowed."
"I am immediate family," Hannah almost screamed, "He's my brother I have to see him." Reluctantly, with several glances at each other, the nurses let her in and she ran as fast as she'd ever gone before to the bed.
He didn't look like she remembered, his face was pale and there were huge bags under his eyes. He was attached to a breathing machine and a heart rate monitor, his body littered with the most painful bruises and cuts. But the worst part, was the look of sympathy on the face of the doctor opposite.
"When we found him, some miles from the wreck, he was concisous and in a lot of pain, although there was some evidence to suggest he may have been unconscious previously, for that reason he has been put under an anesthetic. Unfortunately once we returned here and ran scans, we found a large amount of internal bruising and he seems to have reacted badly to the anesthetic. We will not know more until futher testing. I'm so sorry Hannah, we can only hope it's not to bad." With that the doctor left, leaving Hannah alone with her broken world.
"I love you, you know that right and I'm sorry, for every fight we had over the small things, for every time I've held you back from chasing your dreams. I wish I could just go back and say it's okay. I love you and I could never survive without you, even if it's just for the holidays you're here. If that's what it takes I'll breath for you Jack, I promise..."

So this is one of the last updates with Jack and Hannah's story line. Please let me know what you think, I'm not to sure about it.
I'm thinking of doing a double update today to as I won't update tomorrow, just to let you know.
