Love Runs Out//Road Trip

Breathless

---About 5 months previously---
It had been a long drive, filled with mad singing and laughing, but that hadn't made it any less exhausting. Rye was so shattered from working so hard to get Road Trip going and find their last member, that he along with all the other boys needed a break. So Blair was taking them to Bournemouth to the beach, for a day out.
In true English fashion, the sun was beating down on them, the heat making everyone eager for a dip in the sea. The waves lapped at the sand and it just seemed like a mini paradise.
A paradise that for Rye was going to have one magical invasion.

Down on the beach, the boys had finished filming their cover and were getting ready to film some stuff in the sea for Rttv. Thanks to the boiling heat of the sun though, they weren't alone on the beach and Rye had left his spare clothes in the car. Being the quickest runner of them all, he ran back to get them.
He was halfway back to the beach when he saw her. She was huddled into a wall at the side of road and the sun glared down on her, giving her the need to block her face with her hand.
She was one of the most beautiful girls Rye had seen, but she looked so scared there like something was wrong. Concisous he had to be back to the boys soon, he decided to cross the road to see her.
When he reached her, she was shaking badly and it took him some moments to calm both the girl and himself down enough for them to talk. When they did, he discovered she'd been having a panic attack from a sudden rush of people leaving the beach crowding her, and had only managed to calm down thanks to Rye. It was hard for him to concentrate as he was so caught up in how much he liked her. Nervously he managed to ask for her number before he left.
"Hey, I forgot, what's your name?"
"Maya." She replied in an almost carefree voice.

Hey! So I just wanted to give you some background on how Rye and Maya met in this chapter. I hope it's not a bit random for you all.
I'm not exactly sure where things are going from here because new developments have meant my plans a bit out but hopefully the next part will get things going again.
