Chapter 3 Part 1/2

I have to stop writing right now because I'm really tired because I played golf with my family all day. I will write Chapter 3 Part 2/2 tomorrow.

The three of us put our stuff away and when we were done we took turns in the shower. We made Grover go last because we knew that he would get goat hair stuck in the drain. Grover was in the shower now and Nico and I were sitting on our bed.

"Maybe we should contact camp." Nico said, breaking the awkward silence that had been going on for several minutes now.

"Good idea. Do you have a drachma?" I asked as I opened the window and grabbed the small mist (as in water vapor, not the magic mist) machine I had brought with me. I poured some water in the machine and turned it on in front of the window, mist started forming and a rainbow appeared. Nico tossed in the drachma.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering. Show Chiron at Camp Half-blood."

The most shimmered and Chiron appeared, he was in the middle of teaching an archery class.

"Chiron. Can we talk to you for a second?" I asked when the image came in to focus.

"Oh my gods! Will you about gave me a heart attack. Anyway, do you have anything to report about our missing satyr and is demigods?" He said as he turned around to face the Iris message.

"Ummmm... yeah, it's not very good news. Sif was killed in a park, he's a tree now, Grover said he could sense his soul within the tree. We've only found two of the four demigods that he was watching, currently they are safe but probably not for much longer." I replied sadly.

"Oh. I was hoping for good news. Well, there's nothing we can do about what has already happened, I need you three to find the other demigods and get them here fast. We have some bad news of our own but it can wait until you're back so that we can have a meeting, just get back fast." Chiron said in the same sad tone that I had used.

"Ok, see you soon Chiron. We'll be back as soon as we can." I said then swiped my hand through the mist. After the image disappeared I turned the mist machine off and closed the window.

"We need to get these demigods and get back to camp. If something bad has happened we need to be there soon, otherwise things might get worse." I told Nico as we sat back on the bed.

"No. I thought we would get to stay out here forever." He said sarcastically. "Of course we need to get back to camp. How long until school starts?" He continued, this time without the sarcasm.

As he said this Grover walked out of the bathroom and we told him about our conversation with Chiron.

"School starts in two days, we need to find all of the demigods before the end of the first day. We need to become friends with them and we need to protect them, with how powerful these four are I'm surprised they aren't already dead." Grover said when we were done explaining.

MPOV

It was the day before school, I had all of my shopping done and I called Ethan.

"Hello." He said when he answered.

"Hey Ethan, its Maya, I was calling to see if you wanted to meet at the park, I'll call Jack and Sarah if you want to meet up." I said.

"Oh hi Maya, yeah that would be great, I'll walk over there now." He responded.

"Ok, I'll see you in a bit. I love you, bye." I said as I started getting my shoes on.
