Percy's POV

All of the head counselors, along with the roman praetors and centurions were sitting around the ping pong table. When Chiron came in he was in his wheelchair.

"Now we have several things to talk about so I would like to start please." He said as he got to one end of the table.

We all nodded.

"First, the gods, major and minor, Greek and Roman have all gone missing. It seems like they were kidnapped and taken somewhere that their powers could be stopped. There are very few things that could capture the gods, but there are even fewer things that could keep them. I have a theory, and it ties into the prophecy we just heard. I believe Tartarus himself captured the gods, and that they are now being held somewhere in Tartarus." Said Chiron.

"But how could that be true, how could he have captured all the gods by himself, he must have had help." Said Lou Ellen, head counselor of the Hecate cabin.

"We don't have all of the answers. All we know is that the gods are in a prison somewhere that can drain their powers. Which brings us to the second topic of the meeting." Said Chiron.

"The prophecy." Said Frank.

"Yes." Said Chiron.

"Four children of the three
Must journey down to save the gods
Draw out the lord of the abyss.
Two shall join them
A child of life and a child of death
A sacrifice to prevent the worlds final breath." I said.

"Well clearly the first line means that the quest will have four children of the big three gods." Said Travis.

"As of now there are only four known children of the big three, Percy, Nico, Jason, and Thalia." Said Piper.

"Line two means that they are going to have to save the gods from their prison." Said Connor.

"Well you don't say?! It doesn't clearly state that they 'must journey down to save the gods' wherever did you get the idea that that's what the line meant!" Shouted Clarisse sarcastically as she threw her knife on the table.

"Yeah whatever Clarisse." Said Connor. "Can we get back to it please?"

"I seriously hope that line three doesn't mean what I think it means. Because I think that by lord of the abyss the prophecy means Tartarus, and I sure as Hades don't want to draw him out, he can continue torturing souls in his pit of terror while I sit here and drink blue lemonade." I said. "I had to deal with that place before, and if the gods are there, sorry but I have no intention to go back down. If the prophecy means four children of the big three then you'll have to find a different son of Poseidon."

Everyone was staring at me.

"There are only two other people that have experienced that place so none of you, other than Nico and Annabeth have the right to judge me for not wanting to go back." I said bitterly.

"Percy, you may not have a choice but to go back. As much as I hate the idea of going back there, if we don't then Tartarus will destroy earth, there will be nowhere for you to drink your blue lemonade." Said Nico. I looked over at him, and saw so much pain and fear there that I wanted to go over and give him a hug and tell him everything will be ok, but I don't. He's right, I have to do this.

"Fine, I'll do it, but only if another child of Poseidon doesn't show up by the time of the quest. Which means we need to pick a day for us to go on this suicide mission." I said, still very bitterly.

"I think the quest starts on Friday, that will give the demigods going on it time to get ready. It will also give us time to contact Thalia about the quest." Said Chiron.
