Percy's POV

Well, I hate prison. Especially prison in the deepest part of the freaking underworld, where all of my worst enemies are. The only thing keeping me from going completely insane is the fact that I have Annabeth and several of my other friends with me.

"There's got to be a way out." Said Frank.

"If there was a way out, this wouldn't be a prison in the deepest, darkest, evilest part of the underworld." I said.

"Well, hopefully our friends can get here in time to save us before Tartarus decides to kill any of us." Said Annabeth.

"Maybe if we look out that window we can see if there might be a way out." Said Carter.

"There's not going to be a way out, but you can try if you want." Said Annabeth. We were sitting in the corner of the cell, her head on my shoulder.

"How can you two give up so easily?! I thought you were the ones who were supposed to lead your camp in times of crisis, no matter the odds!" Shouted Sadie.

"You think we want to give up? We've been here before, so we know there's nothing we can do. There's not going to be a way out. We barely made it last time, and we had an elevator back to the normal world." I said angrily.

"Guys, arguing isn't going to help us." Said Piper.

"How about we look out the window. If not to find a way out to have a look at what's around us." Said Frank.

"Fine." I said.

When I looked out the window I wished we had an elevator to the normal world. We were in the top of a tall black tower, the tower was in the center of a circular wall that was easily several hundred yards thick. There was a group of monsters circling the tower. On the wall I saw even more monsters. There was one gate in the wall, it was made of what looked like Stygian iron bars. Beyond the gate there was a large, completely flat area, filled with monsters. And another wall, twice as thick as the one  around the tower, circled the area. But monsters weren't the only things in the area, I saw at least six of the giants.

"I really wish we hadn't looked out the window." Said Sadie.

"Yeah. We're all going to die here... aren't we." Said Piper sadly.

"Unless our friends have an army, they won't be able to help us. There's no way they could sneak to the tower, then climb up the tower, free us, and all of us sneak out again. Even with an army, it would be nearly impossible to take this prison, its way to heavily defended." Said Frank.

"Well... I guess we need to make ourselves comfortable. Because we're stuck here." I said.

"You guys get some sleep. I'll stay awake and wake someone else up in about an hour." Said Frank.

None of us argued. Annabeth and I slept in the corner we had been sitting in. Carter laid down and pulled out his phone and looked at a picture of him and Zia sitting in the mall food court, Sadie did the same only with a picture of Walt, and they weren't in a mall food court. Frank stared out the window.

I hope we can get out of this. And if we manage to get out, and save the world, again, I'm retiring. No more saving the world for me. Just a nice, peaceful, quiet life. At least as nice, peaceful, and quiet the life of a demigod can be.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't done a whole lot on here in a few days. I've been really busy with school and stuff. Luckily I don't have school tomorrow so I can work on my fanfics.

For those of you who don't know, I'm starting a fanfic on the Squad account. It's called The Failing Mist, it's going to take place at the same time as this fanfic, and the characters are going to be Traite and Loucil. I've only put an introduction up so far, but I will hopefully post the first chapter tomorrow.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed.
