Chapter 5

MPOV

I had been holding Ethan's hand throughout the entire fight. I couldn't believe how brave a couple of kids, not a lot older than myself, were. Nico and Will both got injured, Nico more seriously, but then, when their reinforcements arrived they charged back out and continued fighting. When all of the monsters were finally destroyed the group came back in the house. All of them were injured, a very buff Asian guy had a slash across his chest, and it didn't seem to faze him at all, a kid that looked so much like jack and Sarah he could be related to them, had a long cut down his side and it looked like his leg was bleeding, he was holding a bronze sword and limping. I could go on and on describing the injuries, but I'm not going to because I really don't want to.

"Oh my god!" Screamed Sarah, "are you guys ok?!"

"Please don't scream. We'll be fine we just need some nectar, ambrosia and unicorn drought." Said Nico.

Will started handing the yellow brownies and small vials of gold liquid for everyone except Nico who got a vial of silver liquid instead of the gold one. When they were all done their wounds had healed almost completely. What? I need to get ahold of some of that stuff.

"So all of you are demigods?" I asked.

I am choosing not to put descriptions of these characters. If you have read the books, which I'm assuming you have because why else would you be reading this, you should know what they look like.

"Yeah. I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." Said the guy who looked so much like my friends I was certain they had to be related.

"I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

"I'm Frank Zhang, son of Mars."

"I'm Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto."

"I'm Jason Grace, son of Jupiter."

"I'm Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite."

"I'm Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, and I'm the Super-sized McShizzle."

"Leo shut up, sorry about him. I'm Calypso, and before you ask, yes I am the Calypso from Greek mythology."

"I'm Reyna, daughter of Bellona."

Once introductions were done Jack and Sarah offered everyone food and drinks. Jack brought in platters of crackers and some cheese that he found in their refrigerator. Sarah walked around giving out cups, then she came out of the kitchen again carrying a jug of lemonade and a liter bottle of coke.

"Since its getting dark we should probably stay here, Hazel, Mrs. O'Leary and I can't shadow travel thus many people without turning into piles of underworld goo so we will have to get to camp the hard way. And that will be especially difficult because of how many of us there are, and the fact that most of us are extremely powerful demigods." Said Nico quietly.

"Great, we get to find a way from Texas to Long Island. And we're going to be attacked by monsters the entire time, that sounds like so much fun." Said Percy sarcastically.

"I'll take first watch, everyone else get some sleep." Said Nico. I hadn't noticed before but he had so many emotions in his eyes, most of them were not great. I wonder why he seems so broken.

"Ok. How are we going to set up sleeping arrangements? Is there enough room for all of us or should some of us go to the motel that Nico, Grover and I stayed at?" Will asked.

"We should all be able to stat here, but I'm not going anywhere, and neither is Sarah. School starts tomorrow and our parents will flip out if we run away." Jack said.
