MPOV

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Shouted Alyss, we all looked where she was pointing.

Tartarus was fighting Bob and Damasen, we turned just in time to see both of them disintegrate and get drawn into the black whirlpool that was Tartarus's face.

"Enough! Foolish demigods! You cannot defeat me while I am at my strongest!" Shouted Tartarus, his voice came from all around us.

Tartarus was facing Percy, Nico, Annabeth, and Thalia now.

"You may have defeated my other forms, but I was weak in those forms. You will all die." Tartarus said.

"What do we do?! They're gonna get killed if we don't do something!" I said, the rest of the group watched in horror as our friends dropped their weapons.

"You thought that if you took on The Curse of Achilles that you could beat my army and I here, at my heart. You thought wrong." Said Tartarus.

"Well... what are you waiting for then? If you're going to kill us do it." Said Nico.

"I would, but I want you to watch as the world gets destroyed, as I get revenge for Gaea." Said Tartarus.

"Then that's you're mistake, you don't want to kill us now, so we'll win." Said Annabeth.

"I don't remember you being this brave the first time we met at the Doors of Death, but bravery won't help you. I don't want to kill you now, but I will if I must." Said Tartarus.

"Oh gods what do we do!" Said Jack.

"What they told us to, we get the gods. They're distracting Tartarus so that we can get to the gods and free them." Said Will.

"But what if they die!?" I said.

"They knew the risk before they charged to fight millions of monsters with so few people. They're heroes, it's what they do." Said Reyna.

"We have to help them!" Shouted Danial.

"No. There is nothing we can do for them now, other than hope they survive. We can however free the gods which is what we came here to do in the first place." Said Calypso.

"Fine." Said Ethan.

"I can't believe we're leaving them for dead." Jack said to himself as he walked away from the group.

"No. I can't accept this. There is no way we are leaving them to die. They're our friends, and they need help, so that's what they are going to get." I said.

"Maya. We have to do our job, and right now that isn't to help them, it's to free the gods. I hate this just as much, if not more than you, but I know that this is what has to be done." Said Hazel.

I scoffed at all of them and walked away.

"I thought better of all of you than this." I said as I walked away.

"Maya." Said Frank. "We're wasting time arguing. We can help our friends and free the gods, but only if we work together and stop fighting amongst ourselves."
