*Apocalypse Now* (Criss Angel & Klayton Scott Story)

*10*(Criss's P.O.V.)

Our group has lived peacefully in the warehouse for 3 years...without any troubles with rebels or bandits...and Johnny and Kiefer were now 7 years old, and so full of energy they were beginning to get hard to keep up with but they were very good boys and did what they were told...Klayton got restless of the secure life and he and King both headed off in search of new places, and new people to save or fight with...but that wasn't the real reason for him leaving...the real reason was that he was in love with Kc, and he didn't want to start a fight with me to get her...even though I know if he really wanted her...I couldn't stop him...and I wouldn't stop him...but neither would he...for he loved and respected me too much for that.

Johnny and Kiefer both missed him terribly, but I told them they still had me, and for them not to worry, that Klayton would come back. Zoey and Ronnie were happily pregnant again with their second child...and Christine was now 4 years old...Nell was pregnant with Dallon's kid, but she was pissed off at him for knocking her up...and she beat the hell out of him daily...but the little shit deserved it most of the time...Danielle and Billy were now married and had a 2-year-old girl and they named her Amber. She was such a sweetie pie...and always giggling. Mark and Abby were now officially married too and wanted a baby, but haven't got that far yet.

After Klayton left more traveler's came asking for sanctuary at the warehouse...Mickey, however, didn't like the way some of them acted, and he ran them off...then next week four more travelers came through saying they came down from Washington...and everywhere they went, was nothing but disaster and emptiness...Mickey let the second group of 5 travelers stay...for he said their hearts were in the right place...wanting to live normal lives with friends and family. Their names were Siera, Lyla, Kayala, Leland, and Tommy.

Mickey took an immediate liking for Lyla...but she wanted to play hard to get with him...but the first thing she said to me, was that she like Mickey a lot...I told her he was a very cool guy. Siera was married to Leland and 6 months pregnant herself...but she was afraid to have a baby in this crazy new world...but when she saw how we all lived in the warehouse, like a huge loving family...she began to relax...especially when she met all of our kids. Tommy and Kayala were brother and sister, and as different as night and day...Kayala was an exotic beauty with long kinky blond hair...and green eyes...Tommy was tall, lean, and very gothic...he sort of reminded me of me when I first started out...only I was a little more exotic than him, and much more handsome if I do say so myself.

Kc has been secretly following Rachel every day for the last few weeks...for Kc was worried about her...but when she made it to her destination...Kc found out that Rachel has been secretly seeing one of the guys that Mickey had run off with the first group of travelers...and apparently he liked Rachel right when he saw her at the warehouse, and he left his group and set-up a camp just inside the woods, not too far from the warehouse...and Rachel was very taken with him...after Kc found out she wasn't sick or depressed she came back to the warehouse...but she didn't know if she should tell anyone about her secret...or just ask her about it later in private...once she made it to the room, where I was sitting...she decided to leave it alone until later.

Rachel finally got back during supper time...and she had a glow to her, that she didn't have before...Kc was sitting on my lap feeding me grapes for dessert...Johnny and Kiefer were playing with Christine and Amber in an empty room in the warehouse they turned into a playroom...as soon as Kc saw Rachel walk into the privacy of her bedroom, Kc got up and kissed my neck and went in behind her...and shut the door, and when Rachel turned around, Kc said she needed to talk to her...Rachel was more than happy to talk to her best friend...but Rachel got suddenly chilled when she brought up the stranger living in the woods near the warehouse that she's been secretly seeing for many weeks now...but when Kc saw the look on her friends face, she assured her that she wouldn't tell anyone...that it was just between them...until Rachel was ready to bring it out in the open herself.

Rachel sat on the edge of the bed and said that she was afraid to tell anyone about him, for the fact that Mickey had run him off already once before...when he was with the group of four a month ago....but he liked her, right when he saw her, and he left the group and stayed behind to be with her...but he was a little nervous about asking to come into the group after how he and his friends got run off the first time...so he instead just asked her to come visit him daily so they could be together.

Kc told her that love should not be denied no matter who it was with...and that she would vouch for her boyfriend if and when they both decide to come out and ask to join the family...I knocked on the door and asked Kc if she was going to come out and be with me...for I was getting really lonely out here without her...Kc gave Rachel a securing hug and promised to keep it in the bedroom...then ran out the door, and jumped into my arms and told me to give her a smooch.

Rachel just stayed in her room the rest of the night...thinking about what Kc said to her...then before she crawled into bed to sleep...she decided that she was going to her secret love and tell him, she didn't want to be in the dark anymore...and that she wanted him to be with her...in the warehouse where he belonged.
