*Apocalypse Now* (Criss Angel & Klayton Scott Story)

*19*(Klayton's P.O.V.)

I was just laying underneath my beautiful Kc, not fully believing that she was finally mine...and that she would always be with me...I was watching her sleep and listening to the sound of her heart beating in unison with mine...I gently moved her hair away from her face, and slowly placed my lips along her neck and kissed her neck and trailed down to her shoulder...she opened her eyes and fluttered her lashes at me, and gave me a sweet kiss and asked if it was time to head back to the warehouse...I personally didn't want to leave the dream I was in just yet, but I looked up at the sky and realized it was close to dinner time.

Kc slid off of me and then reached for my hand to help me up, I followed her to where Cochise was tethered, and I saddled him up...then I went to the stream to fill our canteen...I watched as Kc knelt down and took some of the water and lightly splashed it on her face, then stood up and went to the horse to wait for me to hop up first, then pull her up in front of me...for she told me that she loved horses, but she wasn't a very good rider...which personally was very ok by me...for that meant I got to hold her all the way back.

Kc and I were heading back to the warehouse when we both heard familiar sounds that we didn't like...and it was coming from the warehouse...I told Kc to hold on tight as I sunk spur into Cochise to get their as quick as possible...I slowed Cochise down, once the warehouse was in sight...Kc panicked and jumped off the horse and tried to run to the warehouse blindly...I grabbed her and told her to think...not blindly run into something neither of us knew about...the warehouse was being attacked...and by as much smoke and fire that was around...it was a huge enemy force...I told Kc to stay there...I jumped on Cochise and snuck around the backside of the warehouse and jumped the fence...I saw many of the family out fighting with the enemy...but I also saw many of our friends and family laying on the ground dead...I pulled out my staff, and began taking out every enemy I came across...moments later I saw Kc jump the fence and saw I was surrounded and pulled out her staff and made it to my side and we fought side by side...

Hours later, I was covered in our enemies blood, and even a little of my own this time...I turned to Kc and asked her if she was alright...she looked up at me, with blood streaming out of a good-sized laceration over her left eye, but said she was fine...I whistled for King, but when he didn't come...I knew something happened to him...I began going through the bodies, trying to find our friends and family...it took Kc and me two hours to locate everyone...Kc couldn't take it...too many have died...and for what, a broke down old building and a few measly supplies...I held her tightly and told her I needed her to help with the wounded. She snapped out of it and began helping me patch up the survivors...

Once we finished, Kc and I did a head count just to see who was no longer with us...for the bodies were so burnt and emaciated that we couldn't tell who was who...Dallon, Breny, Nell, Mark, Zoey, Tommy, and Teela were all dead...and Criss and the kids were nowhere to be found...Mickey had one of the rebels still half alive, but ready to kill him...for killing his little brother Mark...but I stopped him and told him we may need him...for a while...to get answers out of him...Mickey tied him up and threw him up against the far wall...I looked around for Kc, but I lost sight of her...I looked at the still burning building and a bad feeling came over me...Kc had run back into the building to see if anyone was still in it...and alive.

I raced to the building, and entered...the smoke quickly began to burn my eyes...but I hollered out for my Kc, and it wasn't until I made it to the second floor in the building where I saw her holding Johnny...for she knew where his secret hiding place was...and if there was ever any danger...that's where he always ran and hid...I reached out for her and told her we had to get out of here...before the entire building fell down on us...but she handed me Johnny, and ran back into the room...4 minutes later...she came out dragging Criss out of the flames...I handed Johnny to her and I pulled Criss over my shoulders and told her to get out now!!

We both made it out of the building just as it collapsed with a loud crash...I put Criss down, and Kc realized that he wasn't breathing...she quickly performed CPR on him and tried to get him to breath again...I got a wet rag and began to moisten his face and lips with it...after Kc's third attempt Criss began to choke out the induced smoke...all he could utter was Johnny....I carried Johnny to him, who was know awake...he was covered in ash, but he was ok...Sandy came out from the southern woods with Dimitra, Kiefer, and the two now full grown wolf's that I rescued and gave to the kids. They weren't even at the warehouse when it was attacked...they were out picking berries for a pie she wanted to make.

Sandy came running to Criss and kissed him over and over, asking him if he and Johnny were all right...Criss gave her a weak smile and said yes...thanks to Kc...and Klayton. Johnny went to Kc and sat in her lap and gave her a hug...she just held him close to her heart, then stood up and asked me and Criss what we were going to do...full of despair in her voice and tears in her eyes. Criss and I looked at our few survivors and said we didn't know.
