*Apocalypse Now* (Criss Angel & Klayton Scott Story)

*16*(Klayton's P.O.V.)

I was riding ahead on my appaloosa I decided to name Cochise...for JD and the others could see the warehouse from where I left them, and just told them all to head toward it...that I needed to be alone for a while...for I missed Aphelion more than I ever could've imagined...which made my longing for Kc come back in full throttle, and I didn't think I could handle seeing her...knowing I couldn't have her. 

JD and Costa finally made it with the wagon to the warehouses front gates...King let out a loud moan...for he could smell his kids that he left so long ago...Kiefer and Johnny...Kiefer was out in the yard playing with Christine and Amber when he heard King...he ran to the gates hollering to everyone that Uncle Klayton was back!! Criss and Kc came running out to open the gate they had recently built to help keep rebels out...and to keep their kids in...but when Criss looked out the opened gate...he didn't see what he expected to see.

Criss dropped to his knees when he saw his family's loving faces staring right at him...Kiefer and Johnny didn't remember them at all, for they were just baby's the last time they saw them...but Dimitra jumped out of the wagon...and fell down into her little boys' arms and cried tears of joy...knowing that she was whole again with her entire family...JD and Costa jumped off their horses and gave their little brother a huge family hug. Criss told Johnny and Kiefer to come and say hi to their grandma, and their two Uncles...Johnny went up instantly and said hi, but Kiefer was a little disappointed when he didn't see Klayton anywhere...but he was very happy to see King...he ran up to him and jumped on his back and rode him into the yard.

Criss told Kiefer to come and say hi to his family again...so he obediently went up to them and gave them all a hug, and said hi...but then went up to Costa, and asked where uncle Klayton was...neither he nor JD said a word...so Dimitra sat down next to Kiefer and looked up at Criss and told everyone the story about Aphelion and that Klayton was in deep mourning for her right now...but not to worry, so he was here, and would come in, when the time was right.

Criss couldn't believe that Klayton actually cried about anything...he was so emotionally in control, he has never seen him cry...not even when his family was killed. But he dropped the thought, and helped his brothers bring the wagon in along with the new horses they had acquired...then Kc locked the gates, and just let the horses roam within the wall and eat the tall grasses that was in the fenced in warehouse. Mickey said that those horses would be great additions to their survival...for on horseback would beat walking during the supply runs.

I was just outside the warehouse sitting atop of Cochise, and wondering if I should go in, or just ride off, and go on my own for a while, until things blew over in my mind...but I heard my two nephews asking where I was...and I knew I had to go and see them at least...plus for the fact, that I really did miss my blood-brother Criss....and Kc. So I kissed to Cochise and told him it was time to go home...but before I got there I heard a strange sound coming from a thicket in the woods...I jumped off of Cochise and clicked to him, which meant stay...and headed toward the noise...I looked in the thicket and found two wolf pups...I searched along the riverside to find the mother wolf was killed from being stuck in a snare trap, from some hunters.

I ran back to the thicket, and pulled out both of the pups and put them in my duffle bag with their heads poking out...then mounted up again and headed for the front gate...I gave a shout and told Criss to open the damn door and let me in...that I was starving...Criss heard him and asked me who I was...and if I was friend or foe...while chuckling....I told him to open the damn door...or I'd get in another way, and kick his little ass...Criss opened the door...as I slid off of Cochise and let him run with the other horses in the fenced in yard...Criss didn't even get his arms around me good, when Kiefer and Johnny ran in front of him, and jumped into my arms telling me how much they missed me...I knelt down and told them I missed them too very much...then they heard the pup whining, and I grabbed my bag and pulled it around, and told them I had a present for each of them...I pulled out the two wolf pups and said they needed a lot of love and care...for their mom was killed by some hunter. Both boys grabbed for the biggest pup first, but Kiefer was just a little bit quicker, and got the boy pup first...Johnny looked at the girl pup and said he liked the other one...Klayton put Johnny on his lap, and said that this little girl really needed him, that she was very special...Johnny took her and said he would take care of her, then he kissed me on the cheek and told me thanks for her...then he ran to the warehouse and went into his room and laid down holding her, and getting her to drink some milk.

I looked up and said hi to everyone, and that it did feel good to be back amongst friends...then I turned to grab my duffle, and looked back up and Kc was standing right in front of me...my heart skipped a few beats at how beautiful I forgot she was...I looked down and told her hi...but saying hi wasn't good enough for her...she wrapped her arms around me and gave me a very warm kiss on my cheek...I drowned in her scent...and really longed for her body...but when Criss came out I quickly moved away and asked her for some home cooked food, instead of dried beef and campfire fish, rabbit, and squirrel. Criss put his hand on my shoulder and we all walked in the warehouse and she quickly got me some food...then I tossed my bag in the same corner I always used and made my bed against the wall. After I ate, I just laid there and passed out from exhaustion...King came in and saw me sleeping and laid down by my side, and went to sleep.
