Harry's POV

Climb the trellis? That girl is a piece of work, and Louis has it bad. Not that I'm going to pass up a chance to see Isabel either. We walk around the side of Darcy's house, and see the trellis and the window wide open.

I hear someone softly singing. It sounds like Daisy and her voice carries through the window.

"That girl should have a record deal." Zayn says and we all nod in agreement.

"Okay, so I'll go first." Louis says, and I roll my eyes, he's almost too eager. He and Eleanor haven't even been apart for that long. But I'd rather see him like this than upset like he had been for the past week, even though he tried to hide it.

"Calcium Permanganate...." I hear someone mumble, their voice fading in and out.

"Darcy?" Niall guesses.

"Probably." I agree.

Louis starts up the trellis Liam behind him, the rest if us follow. "We have to be quiet." I whisper.

"Let's explore." Niall says too loudly.

"Shh!" Liam tells him.

Louis trips over a large book in the hallway "Why is this here? Does she not have bookshelves?" He jokes.

We all laugh quietly, only to be shushed by Zayn. "We should run in screaming." He proposes.

"They've probably already heard us." I point out.

"So let's do it." Niall tells me. I finally agree and we storm in all at once. I find Isabel in her silly looking pajamas. I'm smiling as I drop myself onto her. I take in her stupid pants and her hair and her long light brown eyelashes. I've never seen her without makeup. I touch her eyelashes and make fun of her striped pajamas.

I wake up on the floor to Niall screaming that we all have to get up because we leave in an hour to get food. I remember falling asleep on the couch. I smile in the realization that Isabel must have pushed me off the couch. Not exactly what I expected, but she never is.

Brooke groans about getting up, and curses the sun. I laugh as I try to shake off the sleep.

Isabel grabs her phone from the side table and blushes when she sees me watching her. I like that I make her flustered. I get up and follow her into what looks like an office, I pause and look at a notebook and cringe at the all the chemistry. Louis is looking through it.

"Learn anything new?" I ask him my voice low.

"Yeah." He puts down the notebook "That I will never be as smart as her."

"You're infatuated." I tell him.

"As are you." He says and lowers his voice "Don't tell me you don't this Isabel's perfect."

"Perfect is a strong word." I tell him.

He gives me a look.

"Fine you're right." I shrug.

Isabel is oblivious to our exchange and has pulled out a book. I read the cover and see that it's Emma by Jane Austen. I wonder what she's thinking. Does she think I'm perfect? I highly doubt it, but she's so reserved that I would never know anyway. I sigh and decide that deciphering her is impossible. However that does not mean that I won't try.

Forty minutes later Brooke, Darcy, Daisy and Isabel are finally ready to go. Isabel looks small in an oversized sweater and skinny jeans. She's so tall. Well tall compared to the rest of the girls. I kind of hate that when she wears heels we're the same height, but I'm trying not to let it get to me.

"Molarity." Darcy says suddenly snapping her fingers.

"Brunch." Daisy tells her, steering her away from the office and towards the door.

"But what if I lose my train of thought?" Darcy pouts.

"You won't. You're too much of a spaz." Isabel tells her. Darcy sticks her tongue out at her and Isabel returns the gesture.

"Agreed. Honestly it looked like you tried to murder the notebook." Brooke chimes in.

Louis laughs, it is evident that the journal had been stabbed. That was the thing about all of these girls, they came off as perfectly collected, but the more you got to know them you could see their obvious Achilles Heels. I haven't found Isabel's yet.

We finally get into the car, Louis agreed to drive when Darcy called shotgun. If only she knew, would she reject him? I hope she doesn't.

Brunch was essentially uneventful because I was focused on taking Isabel out on the perfect date tonight. Nothing less than everything. Around 2 we all left Darcy's, and I arranged to pick up Isabel at 7. I'm actually kind of nervous. She wouldn't say no to my formal request, would she?
