Where was I? I stared up at a white ceiling as I placed my hands beside me and felt a fuzzy blanket. I began to look around as my eyes cleared up from my sleepiness. I was lying in a bed somewhere... where was I again? Next to me was a bedside table with a glass of water on it. What had happened? How long had I been here? I noticed a picture on the table next to me and leaned closer to get a look at it.
Joshua.
Everything came flooding back into my memory as the pain from embarrassment overtook my limp body. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before slowly climbing out of the bed. I had to face this sometime. Might as well be sooner than later. I looked outside surprised to see that it was already dark.
How long have I been asleep?
I opened to door and walked into the room I was in with Joshua before I must have passed out.
"Hello!" A cherry voice said from the coach.
I was startled to see a beautiful blonde girl with turquoise blue eyes and pink lips sitting on the couch with her laptop next to her.
"H-hello." I said quietly.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" She hurriedly said as she closed her laptop. "I'm Jenna", she smiled as she stood up to shake my hand".
"Autumn" I replied as I attempted a smile.
She was even more gorgeous now that I had a better look. Her short icy blonde hair was curled and framed her face beautifully. It sat around her collarbones and extenuated her beautiful cheekbones. Her stunning eyes stood out with the stark contrast of her light brown eyebrows which were perfectly shaped. Although she wore minimal makeup, her beauty and joy shown through her face. The prettiest of all was her smile. Her face seemed to light up when she smiled at me and she grew even more beautiful. Although she looked like a model, I could tell she had a kind heart and looked like someone I wanted to be friends with.
"Josh had me come hang out with you while him and Tyler are performing" she said. "I hope that's ok" she smiled again.
"Of course!" I smiled back. "I'm sorry you're missing their show because of me though."
"Oh goodness it's ok!" She exclaimed. "I already saw them last night anyways and I've been on tour with them for about a year now".
I was beginning to wondering if she was in a relationship with Joshua. She did call him Josh... did that mean they were together? I hoped not even though I knew there was no way Joshua would like me after today. Plus I really liked Jenna and wanted her to be happy even though I just met her. A little part of me hoped she was taken by someone else though.
"S-so are you dating Joshua?" I timidly asked.
She threw her head back and laughed. "Josh?" "No definitely not!" She smiled. "He's a great guy and a good friend but I'm actually married to Tyler".
She seemed to light up when she said "Tyler". It was adorable actually. Whoever this Tyler guy was, I could tell he made her incredibly happy. I hoped I looked that joyful when I talked about my future husband someday. If I ever even got married...
"Is it ok if I ask..." I trailed off. "Who's Tyler?"
She looked surprised but then seemed to remember something.
"Oh I'm sorry I completely forgot that Josh told me you don't know anything about their band!" She laughed and I smiled back at her. "Tyler is in the band with Josh. Josh plays drums and Tyler is the lead singer but he also plays the piano and ukulele".
