The dim street lights cast shadows onto the grey sidewalk. 3 guys, who looked around their mid twenties, surrounded a short female.
"Get away from me!" she shouted shoving one of the guys away.
"Awww look, she's fighting back," another one of the guys snickered.
All 3 guys started cooing and pecking at her. They twirled her hair and tugged at it. She pulled her long blonde hair back towards her.
"Just...lay off," she sighed trying to speed up.
"Where you goin' sweetheart?" a guy asked her.
"Anywhere but here," she growled.
The buffest of the 3 stepped right in front of her. Her body made a thud sound as she ran into him.
"Not so fast," he smirked.
"Woah...check that out,"Rocky gasped while looking out his car window.
"That doesn't look good," Ross replied biting his lip.
"She's in trouble!" Rydel screached.
"I'll go help her!" Rocky stated, opening the car door.
"Woah Rocky," Riker stopped him. "That could get ugly. You shouldn't go out there."
"And what...leave her there?! No, she needs help! And it doesn't look like superman is flying by, does it now." Rocky argued.
Ratliff covered his mouth, trying to hold in a chuckle.
"I'm going," Rocky stated.
"You're unarmed!" Ross blurted out.
Rocky grabbed Ross' guitar case and popped it open. He lifted the black fender over his shoulder.
"Hey, what are you dong? That's mine!" Ross protested.
"Not anymore," Rocky smirked as he swung the door open, and sprinted over to the girl.
"Hey!" Rocky growled at the men.
"Awww, her prince charming is here to save her!" a guy in the back snickered.
Rocky clenched his fist, his muscles ensing throughout his body.
"You obviously have no idea how to talk to a lady. So I'm gonna' let you back away from her before I kick your butts," he growled looking them in the eyes.
The girl smiled, looking down at her trembling hands. Rocky's eyes shifted over to her, and he smiled relieved.
The guys had no intention of moving.
"No? Alright, you had your chance."
Rocky swung a fist, and he hit the guy holding her right her, right in the jaw. He was taken by surprise, as he clutched his now knocked out of place jaw. One of the guys came up behind Rocky, prepared to grab him into a death grip. The girl screached under her breath. Rocky swung his guitar like a baseball bat, slashing the guy right in the face. Another muscular figure prepared to sock Rocky in the rib cage. Rocky grabbed his skull and kneed him in the stomach, causing him to crash onto the black top. He then kicked him in the stomach again, setting him out like a light. The two other men standing let go of the girl, and ran off.
"Are you alright?" Rocky asked, the girl out of breath.
Tears stained her hazel eyes, and she fumbled to wipe them away.
"Hey, hey," Rocky comforted her, "I'm okay."
He brought her into a tight embrace. She fidgeted, the memory of the guys harassing her clogging her brain. Rocky soon realized that he made her uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry," Rocky rushed, quickly taking his hands off her. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
"It's okay," she managed to squeeze in between hiccups.
"I'm Rocky," he introduced himself holding out his hand.
"Emily," she whispered hesitating before shaking his hand. "Thanks for saving me," she smiled pulling her hair back hehind her ear.
"It was nothing," Rocky smiled as he looked over his guitar. "I just hate to see what would've happened if I wasn't here to help."
"Yeah, that would have been bad," she blushed, shifting back and forth on her heels and toes.
"Oh, you look cold, here," Rocky rushed to take off his jacket.
"Oh, no...I'm fine," she protested as he placed his jacket around her. It was actually quite big on her, and she had to hold onto it to keep it from falling off.
"Now let's get you home," Rocky reassured her as Emily followed him to the car.
Rydel moved some stuff over in the back so she could sit down. Emily told Riker his address, and they drove her over to her apartment.
"I'll make sure she gets in okay," Rocky blurted out as Emily proceded out of the car.
"Is anyone home?" Rocky asked her as he followed her to the door.
"No...uh...I live alone actually. Well since I'm 18," she replied nervously. She thought Rocky was sweet and all, but she didn't want him getting any ideas.
"Oh," Rocky sighed. "I was just wondering if there was someone to make sure you were okay."
"I'll be find," Emily smiled as she opened her door.
"Wait!"
Emily turned around surprised, "What is it?"
Rocky sighed, "I know this might sound weird...but can I have your number?...you know...to make sure you're okay. BUT...only if you want to."
Emily giggled, "Give me your phone."
Rocky handed over his phone and she added herself as a new contact.
"Just call me whenever," she added, handing his phone back. She opened the door, "See ya."
"See ya," Rocky repeated while smiling at his phone.
The door clicked behind her, and Rocky happily strolled back to the car.
"You got her number?" Ross asked him, though he already knew the answer.
"Yup," Rocky laughed.
"Oh yeah!" Ratliff yelled holding out his fist so Rocky could fist bump him.
Riker laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. And they all cheerfully drove back to the Lynch house.
