Emily drove herself to the Lynch house to ask Rocky if he wanted to go to dinner. She made her way to the doorstep, and rang the doorbell. Rocky opened the door, and quickly stood in the doorway. He propped his arm up against the frame of the door, blocking the entryway.

"Uh...hey...," Rocky stuttered as he glanced behind him.

"Hey Rocky...," Emily stopped when she saw him glace around.

"What are you doing here?" Rocky asked hurridly.

She tried to glance behind him to see what he was hiding.

"I was just...gonna' ask if you wanted, uh...to go to dinner."

"Sorry I...I'm kinda busy right now. Uh...I'll call you, okay?"

Emily sighed, "Oh...okay."

She went in for a quick hug, and Rocky accepted her. But, then he broke away quickly and sent her on her way. Then he rushed inside as she made her way down the driveway. Emily dragged herself back to her car. She didn't know what she expected. She had hoped that Rocky would say 'sure' and not blow her off. She missed seeing Rocky's face light up everytime he saw her. He had found someone better, just like everyone does.

Emily looked down at her ring, as a teardrop fell onto it. She wiped it off with her shirt, then drove herself home. When she got there she slouched onto her couch again, with her phone right next to her; in case Rocky called like he said he would, which she highly doubted. Then she curled up on the sofa, and slowly fell asleep.

Rocky unfolded a blanket that was sitting on the couch, and gently draped it over Emily.

"Rocky?" her eyes fluttered open.

"Shhhh, go back to sleep," he whispered, then kissed her forehead.

"How'd you get in?" she blushed.

"I know where you keep the spare key," he smiled innocently.

"Listen," he sighed taking a seat next to her. He sat Emily's feet in his lap. "I'm really sorry I blew you off earlier."

"It's okay," she sighed.

"Well get a good night sleep, and I'll take you out to breakfast in the morning. Okay babe?"

"Okay," Emily smiled.

He got up, then planted another sofa kiss on her forehead.

"Sweet dreams," he smiled, then he made his way back to his car outside.
