"Quick question. What college do you go to?" Rocky texted Emily.

"CCM," she replied.

"What?! That's awesome!"

Rocky had no idea she was interested in music too; let alone going to a major music university.

Rocky then knew what he would do. He spent the whole night asking her questions.

"What time does class end?" and "Do you drive yourself?"

"5pm, and not tomorrow, I'm carpooling with a friend."

"Oh, that's cool."

"Lol. Why are you asking all these questions?"

"No reason."

"Haha whatever. GTG. I need extra sleep for those tests."

"Haha bye."

"Bye"

Rocky hopped into his car at 4pm the next day, and drove over to CCM. When he finally arrived it was around 4:40. He hopped out of his car, and waited perched on his hood. He stood there for 20 minutes doing several tasks on his phone.

"Tell ur friend she doesn't have 2 drive you :)" he texted her.

The bell rang throughout the entire courtyard, making Rocky jump. He was focused only on the doors, waiting until he spotted Emily. She wasn't hard to find when she finally marched through the doors. The breeze was blowing through her gorgeous blonde hair as she checked her phone curiously. She was reading Rocky's text, and she was wondering why he had told her that she didn't need a ride. Until she looked up and saw Rocky leaning against his car. Her eyes enlarged in surprise as he flashed her a smile, and signaled her over.

"Hey," he smiled, his hards nervously placed in his pockets.

"What are you doing here?" Emily asked fumbling with the books in her hands.

"I came to pick you up," Rocky grinned, "Oh and to make sure you did good on your tests."

Rocky walked around to the passenger side, and popped open the door. He was wondering why she wasn't getting in, but then he looked up and saw that she was trembling.

"Woah, are you ok?" Rocky asked worridly.

She was shaking so hard that her books tumbled to the ground. Rocky helped her pick them up, and held the stack out to her.

"I'm sorry...I- Your friend can drive you if you want. I don't wanna' make you do anything you don't want to. I was just...I wanted to be nice."

"It's alright," she smiled.

"So...you want me to drop you off?"

Emily sighed, "I trust you Rocky. Don't ruin that."

Rocky smirked, "I won't. I did save your butt afterall."

Emily giggled as she hopped in, and Rocky closed the door behind her. Then he hopped into the driver's seat, and hit the gas.

"So how do you think you did?" he asked her about her tests.

"Uh...I think I did okay. Or at least I hope I did," she laughed.

"What do you play?"

"Guitar...and I sing a bit too," she smiled.

"You know, I play guitar too," Rocky stated glancing over at her.

"Oh really? That's cool."

"Yeah...I could teach you a few things."

"You teach me? I think you need to flip that around young man," Emily laughed.

"Oh really now?!" Rocky laughed shooting her a look.

"Yup," she smirked.

"Alright," Rocky laughed shaking his head.

They finally arrived at her apartment, and Rocky walked her up to her door again.

"Thanks for the rids," Emily smiled as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Before you go. Can I ask you something?" Rocky asked.

"Sure."

"Since you're-well I hope you're not busy tomorrow...how about that date?"

"I dunno'," she shrugged.

Rocky's heart sank.

"So that's a yes?" Rocky smiled expectantly.

"Uhhh...I'm sorry. I actually have a festival at school tomorrow. And, we all have to perform. I don't think I'm busy on the weekend though!"

"It's alright. What time does the festival start?"

"6 pm."

"Cool. Talk to you later?"

"Okay," Emily smiled.
