Camp Halfblood: Dan is a son of Hades, Phil a son of Demeter. The two gods may be arch enemies, but the boys most certainly are not...
"You know we aren't supposed to do this, right? " Dan's nervously playing with the golden skull-ring on his finger, his eyes looking everywhere to make sure no one sees us here. I take his hand to comfort him, assure him that there's nothing to worry about. I know he's scared of what his father, Hades, would do if he finds out that his son has a relation with me, a son of Demeter for gods sake. They've been arch enemies ever since Hades kidnapped Persephone. However, I think my mother would be a lot worse if she found out. She has always been a bit more... severe than other gods if it comes to her children. At least I'm lucky enough to have a great dad. And an awesome boyfriend, of course. Dan and I are walking through the woods surrounding the camp, holding hands. This is what we mostly do, trying to hide our relationship from the gods. They'll eventually find out anyway, but I'll be prepared to take every punishment on me. I was the one who kissed him in the first place. "It'll be allright, Dan. Let's stop here to picknick, shall we? " He smiles at me, his dark eyes glimming with love. We sit down on the grass and I stretch out my hand to a little rosebud. Only a small touch of my fingers is enough to make it open his flowerpetals. The flower has light red petals filled with dewdrops. It's beautiful. I pick it up and turn to Dan, who has been watching me closely. His face lights up when I put the rose behind his ear, the red flashing in his dark brown hair. "Thank you", he says so softly and shy you'd never expect him to be the powerful demigod with powers that go far beyond your imagination he is. "I wish I could give you something that beautiful too. " I know he has never liked his powers. Controlling the dead isn't a very romantic talent either, but I don't care. "You already are the best present I could ever get, dear. You know that. " I lean in closer to kiss him, and warm up his cold rose lips. My eyes close when our lips touch, his hand rests on my cheek and I feel the calming warmth he always gives me rushing through my body. We keep kissing, coming closer to each other until there's not even air between us anymore, soft kisses get harder and I hear a silent moan coming from Dans mouth. That pushes me to really go on with everything, to put my left hand under his shirt and feel his back, so cold under my warm fingers. His hands do the same, his right hand in my neck, brushing through my hair, his left hand under my shirt. This feels so good. We go on like that for a while, until we can't breath anymore and have to let go. Our hearts pound against each other, my eyes remain closed just to enjoy the moment a little longer. "Whoa." I open my eyes to see why Dan said that and discover that all of the plants surrounding our spot have grown in some kind of bubble around us, beautiful flowers everywhere in one big sign of my love for him. "Did you do that? " Dan whispers, afraid to somehow break the magic I seem to have created. "Apparently." His eyes are watering when he turns to me. "F-for me?" I smile.
"Of course, Dan. Everything for you. "
