Isabella understood completely but since she was going to no longer be needed she had looked for her mother and found out that she was living in a village far from Camelot.

One early winter's morning everyone was called to the Grand Hall. As Isabella walked into the hall, arms linked with Violet's, her eyes met the icy blue orbs of Arthur. He was watching her move in her light blue work dress. She moved so gracefully as she walked that it mesmerized him.

He was pulled away from his gaze when he felt hands wrap themselves around his arm. He turned to face the evil eyes of Angela. He never really liked the girl but could refuse his father's wishes.

The Hall filled and Arthur stood up from his seated position and started to address the crowd waiting to hear what he had to say.

"I have called you all here in order to tell you about the marriage between Lady Angela and myself. The wedding will be happening in three days from today. All people are treat Lady Angela with the same respect that you would treat the Royal Family with. That's all you may go back to work."

While he said his whole speech his eye contact was held solely on Isabella. He watched her every move, every action and reaction. Yet she was smart and hid all her emotions inside as Violet gently grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze of comfort. As the crowd started to whisper amongst themselves, the few who knew of the relationship between the Prince and the servant Isabella were looking her. Some showed sadness and others showed pity.

As the stares increased Isabella could not take the looks from everyone, including Merlin, Gaius, Gwen, Violet and Arthur. Even from the corner of her eye she could see that Angela was looking from Arthur to her and back again. She then sent one final hateful stare to Isabella before she forcefully grabbed Arthur and pulled him out of the room.

Isabella excused herself from the group claiming that she was heading to town to fetch some food. No one questioned her as they knew not to ask. Isabella walked out of the gates of Camelot, but stopped when a familiar voice called out her name. Arthur. She started walking again, not in the mood to speak to him. She was harshly grabbed by the arm and pulled into a chest.

She looked into those icy blue eyes she had fallen in love with. Arthur looked at her, his gaze had not changed since the day he confessed his love, but for some reason his choice had.

"Izzy, you have to understand-" Isabella cut him off saying, "What happened to I'll wait until I die?"

Arthur sighed and looked back into her eyes, "Izzy, you have to understand, my father is dying, I am to become King and I need a Queen. Lady Angela was more than willing to help. My Father and her Mother set it up."

Isabella had pure disappointment covering her face, covering her true sadness inside. "Yes, Arthur if that is what you think, then go with it. Lady Angela is a Lady born with a high status where as I am a servant I would never be accepted by your family or the kingdom, you have done the right thing. I understand............... but also understand that you have now damaged me to such an extent that I no longer want to talk to you Arthur. I will leave Camelot after the wedding and go live with my mother in a faraway village. I will miss you Arthur but this is Goodbye."

With that said she turned and walked away leaving Arthur completely lost for words as he watched her fading shadow walk away.

*Three Days Later*

It was the day of the wedding and Isabella stood in her room, with her bag packed and ready, all she had to do now was say goodbye to all the people that she loved dearly.

She had not spoken to Arthur since he had tried to speak to her by the forest. She made her way to Gaius' room where Gwen, Merlin, Gaius and Violet stood waiting. She looked at them before hugging each of them, she hugged Merlin last and he whispered something in her ear.

"Remember what Bella said, Arthur will be tempted but you have to have faith in him and he will come back to his destiny."

She looked at Merlin, and said, "I know Merlin, but I can't take the heart break anymore. I will come and see you some time but until then this is goodbye."

"No, Izzy, this is not goodbye this is see you soon. By saying Goodbye means that we are never going to see you again."

Isabella smiled at everyone before taking a final look at the room and leaving. She walked to the gates and took one final look at Camelot and closed her eyes before looking away and walking to the forest.

Isabella was deep in the forest heading for the small village where her mother lived yet she found her lost. She then noticed that it was getting late and dark so she decided that she would camp out and wait for the sun to raise before she continues. She was setting up her small resting place when she heard sounds echoing around the forest's trees. She looked around but saw nothing so she carried on but then she heard the sounds again and they were getting closer and closer, the sound of running paws, hitting the muddy floors.

She looked around and suddenly a massive beast leapt out before her. The beast had a snake head and the body of a leopard. She stood up and tried to walk back slowly but the beast didn't want that and it lunged at her and she fell to the ground, hitting her head on a stone, knocking her out straight away.

She laid on the ground motionless and unconscious, surrounding her head, a pool of crimson blood.
