3 weeks past and the kingdom mourned the death of their King and therefore Arthur had to now take his rightful place as King of Camelot. There was only one problem. Arthur was missing his Queen. Isabella had promised him that she would marry him but she needed time in order to regroup her thoughts. She spent most of her time near the castle by a lake, lost in her own thoughts. This happened to also be the place where Uther was buried.

Since she was so closely linked to the King, she was always dressed in the best clothing that he could buy her

Since she was so closely linked to the King, she was always dressed in the best clothing that he could buy her.

One day she walked to the lake and took a seat on the grass by the edge of the lake. Her light pink skirt spread out around her as she sat, her hands folded in her lap. Her long golden hair was neatly tied into braid along her back, in a simple plait. Her eyes closed as she took in a deep breath. Soft voices filled her ears as she sat silently. She opened her eyes and looked across the vast lake.

The lake glistened in the sunlight as she looked out quietly. The soft voices in her ear getting louder by the passing seconds. Her pink dress blowing in the wind as she moved to her feet, her hair falling effortlessly out of her braid and moving softly around her face as a shadowy figure slowly approached her.

The figure held a powerful aura around them and they held themselves with pride as they approached the confused young girl of only about 17 years old. Her eyes looked over the figure, whose face could not be seen.

The figure stopped directly in front of her, and motioned for her to walk along the edge of the lake with the figure. The gentleness of the figure was overwhelming to Isabella who had really only known cruelty as she was only young when her mother "died".

The figure was covered in a cloak of darkness, and seemed to float rather than walk. Isabella walked along with the figure for a while before finally finding the words she so long desired to ask.

"Who are you?" she barely whispered. The figure turned its head to face Isabella, before speaking in a soft, angelic voice as smooth as silk,

"I am known by many names, yet to you I can only be known as one. My name is Kristiel."

As Isabella was about to ask another question Kristiel removed the coat of darkness, revealing a young lady with hair down her feet coated in silver. A light blue dress of pure silk and the most astonishing thing of all were the pair of crisp white wings, perched neatly along her back.

Isabella's eyes widened at the sight before her, Kristiel seemed to be floating on a small white cloud before her. It was extremely rare that a human came into contact with an Angel.

Kristiel then said to Isabella, "My dear Isabella, I am your Guardian Angel send from above to guard and guide you. I have been with you since the first day of your life. I have chosen this as my first moment to appear to you. You see Angels have the opportunity to come down and give guidance first hand. We however only have 3 chances so we have to choose wisely."

Isabella looked into the calming grey eyes of Kristiel and nooded her head signally that she understood. There was a moment of silence as the two walked side by side. After a while Kristiel decided to take a seat. Isabella looked at this incredible Angel sitting before her before speaking up, "Kristiel, may I ask why you chose this moment in time to come down and help me?"

Kristiel smiled a soft caring smile and said, "My dear child, you are in a difficult position and you need some help in choosing the right path. You are in love with the King. King Arthur Pendragon. Arthur will be an incredible King and lead his kingdom to immeasurable heights. But as King Arthur needs a Queen. You are destined to be that Queen. You must marry Arthur. He loves you with all his heart. But let me warn you now in advance, be aware of who you trust...."

Isabella's eyes widened as she took in all of Kristiel's words. With a last gentle smile and a few words, "Go to him, He is waiting for you." She disappeared into a cloud of mist and left Isabella alone, trapped in her thoughts.

After a while Isabella left the lake and headed to the castle. Just as Kristiel said, there he stood in all his glory wearing a white shirt and black pants. He was talking to Violet who stood next to Merlin, she was wearing a green dress that made her look beautiful. Isabella then thought, why her out of the whole kingdom he chose her. Kristiel's words rang through her mind, "You are destined to be that Queen...."

She just stood there, looking at the group laugh and talk like friends. Just then Arthur's head shot up and their eyes met. She held the gaze for a while. Not noticing that all the people in the courtyard had stopped to watch what was about to unfold. Merlin and Violet smiled as Arthur started heading towards Isabella who stood at the entrance to the courtyard. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath as her mind was shut down and her heart took control.

Her eyes opened revealing emerald green full of passion.

She ran through the crowds of people and straight to Arthur who met her half way, their lips connected and passion filled the air around them
