"guys really. where in the world are we going?" i asked, trying to lift the blind fold that was wrapped around my eyes. we have been walking for almost an hour and we're still not there.

"just a few more steps..- luke open the door please." della said and i heard a bell ring. she pushed me in and the smell of mint and rope slithered into my nose.

"della?"

"that's me."

"here, he's back here."

who's back there? what?

"okay. cal, hold my hand okay? i'm taking you to the back." she said soothingly. i felt her pulling on my hand, signaling me to follow her. her hand was warm and i felt it light up my whole body. that's what i like about della.

i heard shuffling and something tapping where we were at. i heard tiny breaths and it was the cutest thing.

"you guys did not." i said, instantly smiling.

della undid the blind fold, the harsh led lights stabbing my eyeballs.

i looked down and there was a siberian husky puppy. one eye was blue and the other was brown which made this dog one hundred times as better. plus it was fluffy so that was also a big win.

i engulfed della in a hug then picked up my puppy. he licked my face, his tail wagging and slapping my arm. he's pretty strong because that was stinging.

"what are you going to name him?" della asked, petting the top of his head. she's right, what am i gonna name him? all i have to remember is that i'm a grown man and i have to pick something that's fits me and my age. especially cause i'll most likely have this dog when my kids are growing up and it'll be theirs.

"uhm." i grunted, trying to think of a name that i'm gonna like and stick with

"i got it." i said, looking at the dog.

"your name is.. Bubble-o-Seven."

"cal i think your puppy is on crack." michael said, randomly. i snorted, calling my dog to the couch and i swear he did a backflip.

anyways, della is selling her house. she's never even over there anymore, she's always with me. the only time della really goes over there  is to get more clothes to bring here. i'm not exactly complaining, because it's way obvious that i really like della. having her in the same house with me? psss. no worries there.

she's selling hers. i'm not surprised that people were offering her more money than the house actually was, people in cali love beach houses. especially these. they were modern, half of the house was window. it had upstairs bathroom, downstairs bathroom, everything. they were honestly great.

i told della she could take jens room. but della said no, she wouldn't mind me and her sharing a room. she, her words, 'likes to feel me by her' at night which really brings my spirit up. because i love to be by della and much as she likes to be by me.

and that's a whole lot.
