Dan ran out of the bathroom and I couldn't catch up to him. He was a lot fitter than me and had a stronger motive to running away than I did.
On my walk home from school I passed a small house with the ugly green curtains drawn. This was a normal thing, not really worth noticing but then I heard a loud sob which was quickly followed by a 'Stop sniveling you stupid fag.'
I had no idea what to do so I just stood there for a couple of minutes.
The abusive language continued and I heard the devastating slap of a palm against someone's face.
I wasn't able to take it anymore so I turned around and ran home.
