"so what brings you here?" chris asked while shuffling his deck.
"just stuff. dont bother."
"ok" pj smiled and handed me one of the twenty sided dice that we used to keep track of our life.
pj and chris had introduced me to magic quite a while ago and we liked holding little tournaments between us.
i always played with my black and green death touch deck, pj had his white and blue mermaid deck and chris played his red goblin deck.
being with chris and pj gave me an escape from life and a reason to smile and have fun.
this time though, life was determined to stuff up my plans
