Song : Armor by Landon Austin.

Harry: We're only alive
              If we bruise
              So I lay down
              This armor

Like any couple would, you and Harry argued. But these days, it seems like bickering was the only way the two of you would communicate. Most of it was Harry's fault. His temper being as unusually short as it was nowadays, even an innocent well-meaning  comment on the way his tie was crooked would earn you a snappish retort. Being you, you didn't back down in letting him know that he was crossing the line. Every time each of you would shrug it off, but you knew there was a growing tension in the air. Tonight, the little cracks in the dam will lead to a flood, it seemed, as you and Harry faced each other head to head. The fury in both of your eyes were evident as the sharp words flew between the two of you. The whole ordeal began to pierce through your anger and tough upfront. Soon your eyes began to water and that was when you realized you had lost. Neither of you knew what, whether it the fact that you were shaking uncontrollably or the fact that Harry had an ache in his heart as he watch you stutter, but he took two strides forward and enveloped you in an embrace. And as you rested you head on his shoulder, for the first time in weeks, both of you realized just how much you missed the other's warmth.

Ron: Take my defenses
          All my defenses
          I lay down this armor

The shock of his pet rat turning out to be a murderer took an obvious toll on Ron. Sometimes you would catch him stopping whatever he was doing and just staring off into space. It wasn't like he never did it before but what really worried you was that little cleft in between his eyebrows. Even then you said nothing. Then one morning while you were studying, you turned around to ask him a question when you caught him doing it again. This time it was slightly different. You couldn't put your finger on it before noticing the cold dark empty look in his eyes. Dread creeping in your heart, you hesitantly nudged him. "Ron?" You called his name but to no avail. He still stared dead ahead. "Ron, stop. You're scaring me." You tried hard not to whimper when he didn't react. You ended up yelling his name as a last attempt. This time it worked. He noticed your pale face and asked you what's wrong. He didn't notice that he looked just as ghastly as you did and the bags under his eyes were a more striking contrast to his skin that ever before. Shaking slightly, you said the words you had been putting off for weeks now. "Tell me."

Draco: I'm not bulletproof
             When it comes to you
             Don't know what to say
When you make me the enemy

Draco sighed as he pushed his peas around with his fork. His friends all stared at him shamelessly before he looked up and glared ferociously at them. Growling a short, "What are you looking at?" At Goyle, who immediately snapped his head downwards, Draco's eyes wandered over to the table. More specifically, your table. His eyes scanned until he found you. He felt his whole being melt helplessly as his gaze stayed on you loyally. Even when students passed him, their cloaks fluttering after them, he would wait to catch a sight of you again. He could feel the burning stares of his friends again and could hear the whiny voice of Pansy Parkinson telling him his dinner was getting cold, but he was numb to the world. Numb to everything except you. He wished he had tried harder. He wished he could explain. He wished he were yours again.

Fred: Maybe I'll crash into you
           Maybe we'll open these wounds

It didn't come a surprise to anyone when, every attempt they tried to coax you to leave your room, you would smile a watery smile and choke out a small thank you but no, thank you. But that didn't mean no one worried. Turns out your concerning predicament reached the kingdoms above because when you fell asleep one night after a particularly hard night of tears and thoughts that ripped at your mind relentlessly, an angel came to sooth your troubles. You awoke in a pure white land and instantly felt better than when you had fallen asleep. Then he came to you and you swore it was the most happiest moment of your life. Teary embraces and kisses were exchanged as the hole in your heart was once again filled with the sight of Fred, at the touch of his hand and the sound of his voice. Constantly you had to swipe a hand clumsily across your eyes but the tears were obscuring your vision and you didn't want to waste a single moment of drinking in the sight of him. When you woke up, fists clenching the blankets tightly and tears still in your eyes, the sun was streaming through your window and for the first time in months, you could hear the birds.

George: After the war is won
               There's always another one

You and George have been through so many things together, both sweet and sour. And now you face what seems to be the toughest and biggest challenge yet. And you're not so sure if you're a team anymore. George had locked himself in his room for the past two days now and no one could even get him to come to the door. Molly was worried sick and came knocking at least ten times a day. She would choke back sobs as she hurried back downstairs. Her sorrow broke your heart but you just couldn't bring yourself to even knock on George's door. That wasn't to say you didn't try, you did. But every time the fear of what you would see on the other side, assuming if he would even open up, overwhelmed you and sent you scuttling back to your room. Then one night when you had woken up to get a glass of water, you stared at George's door in mild shock. It was open, just a small inch, but still open. Tiptoeing your way over, you pushed your fingertips gently to open the door wider. What you saw was enough to make your eyes water immediately. All over the walls, were pictures. Pictures of George and you. And Fred. You stood in the open doorway, silent.  "Thought it was time." You heard him say behind you. "He wouldn't want us like this." You said, softly as you felt his hand brush against yours before clasping it tightly. "That's why we're going to get through this. Together."

N

eville: I'll be your escape
                I'll be your safe place

"You okay?" That was what Neville would ask you every time you met him. It became a habit now, the phrase rolling off his tongue every time he laid eyes on you. He always meant it though, you knew he'd always want to know if you were doing alright. He was sweet that way. And every time you'd say you were fine. Or if things weren't going your way that particular day then you'd go on a rant about what was bothering you. But now you realized that a long potions essay and a little bit too much transfiguration homework was nothing compared to this. Ever since your parents had heard about the commotion in the wizarding world, they had insisted fervently on you staying home, which broke your heart. You loved Hogwarts and everything in it. Especially Neville. Every night you tossed and turned, wondering what he was up to and sometimes you could still hear him say, "You okay?"

Oliver: I will surrender tonight
Before we both lose this fight

Everywhere explosions and fires raged. Squinting to see clearly through the smoke, you tried your best to distinguish between the students of Hogwarts and the enemies, shooting spells and hoping to hit the latter and not the former. Running across the courtyard, you threw a protective shield towards a student before yelling a spell at the Death Eater. You took a moment to catch your breath when a chilling dread took over you but it was too late. A wand was held against your throat and rough hands pinned yours down. "Show yourself, coward! You said you wanted a duel to the death and that's what you're gonna get!" An achingly familiar voice yelled out and you shuddered as the man behind you said,"You sure you want that, pretty boy?" Soon enough, Oliver came out from the smoke. His eyes filled with fear when he saw you in the enemy's arms. "Fine," he said, voice wavering as he threw down his wand,"you got me. Let her go." The man chuckled, before pushing you roughly to the ground. Immediately you raised your wand and yelled, "Avada Kedavra!" The man fell limp to the ground and you ran into Oliver's arms. You couldn't thank him enough.
