You packed up your bags and ran away from that wretched place you call home. No one there cared for you or even noticed you. It felt like prison and you had to get away.

You walked barefooted along the narrow streets, desperately trying to find some shelter. You dragged your bag along walking for what seems like hours...

Til you came across a convenience store. You walked right in and plopped yourself down in one of those squeaky chairs.

"Aish...What an unlucky day" you sighed as you massaged your feet that had cuts and blisters all over.

All of a sudden, a hand gently grabbed your foot and applied some ointment, you looked up to see a man that wore an expensive suit and looked around in his mid 30s.

"Why is a little girl like you roaming around at 4am in the morning" he smiled as he stood up and sat beside me.

You had a weird feeling to open up and talk to this stranger. You felt secure and safe with him.

"I ran away..." you sniffed and looked down. You couldnt help but tear up because you had no family to love and support you. It was just you alone in this dark and scary world

"Want to tell me why my dear?" he asked in the most caring way. He patted you gently on the back.

You let go and hugged him tightly. You cried your eyes out, letting all those emotions you stored up in you go. You couldn't handle it anymore, it was so painful and it gave you heart aches at night.

The man was startled at first but then hugged back.

The whole night you shared everything with him as if he was the only thing you had.

He took you home and days later adopted you, calling you his own.
You changed your name and started a new life, however, til this day...you somehow felt empty inside. Like something just tore apart.

You never tried to love anyone fully because in the end, they hurt you. You only trusted your appa who has been there ever since. It was hard for you to get along with others, you were always the shy and quiet type.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"AISH! what ruined my dream..." you mumbled as you tried to hide under the pillow. "Oh right... I have school today" you thought to yourself. You kicked the blankets and turned the alarm off.

"Wae.." you pouted as you look straight at the big mirror in front of you. You lazily walked to the bathroom and took a shower. You changed and looked at yourself again

"New school... This will be hard" you said to yourself. You slapped your cheek and shouted, "GET A GRIP AND MAKE FRIENDS (Y/N)".

You rushed down to see your appa sipping his coffee and your nanny cooking. You also loved your nanny cause she cared for you when appa wasn't there.

"Good morning," you said as you sat down beside appa.

"Morning! Oh! Hurry don't want to be late for your first day of high school" Appa said and gave me a cheeky smile. He patted my head and stood up to get the car ready.

"...yeah school" you mumbled. You actually didn't like school or well maybe school didn't like you. They'd call you names and pick on you. You just wanted peace and quiet. However... that wasn't the only reason.

You only had one friend named Eunji because she was the only one who understands your past. You laughed with her, you ate with her, you did everything with her. You trusted her so much.
