You started walking to your classroom...7B. Everyone was already lining up for the morning assembly, you ran inside the classroom and placed your bag down only to see Taehyung sitting on the desk.

"Late much?" He smirked at you. He stood up and swings his arm around you. "KAJA!"

Such a noisy boy.

You both went outside the classroom and lined up.

"Oh... You know Taetae?" A girl your height suddenly asked you.

"Oh... Uhm not really" you answered. It was true, you only knew his name and that you guys are in the same class.

"Ahhh." She said somehow disappointed. "Anyways I'm Skye" she giggled. She grabbed two girls behind her.

"This is Yoona" she pointed at a tall and slender girl. "Annyeong!" She smiled at you.

"This is Kimi, but you can call her kimchi" she pointed at another tall girl but this time she was very pretty. Actually, all of them are. I wonder if they're those cliché groups that are like popular.

The class went down to the assembly area. Those girls who introduced themselves to you were treating you like you knew each other for years. You all laughed and even got scolded by the teacher because of your noise.

In the corner of your eye, sometimes you would catch Taehyung looking at you. Why?

The assembly was over and your class lined up again to get ready to head upstairs to your classroom. Taehyung went to the back of the boy's line so that he could be beside you. He whispered, "you know those three girls?"

"No not really but they are friendly" you answered back. He gave you a nod and lined up again.

The class went upstairs and finally, it was time to start classes. The first day of school was the day everyone had to introduce themselves. You sat down at the back near the three girls because they asked you to.

"Anneyeonghaseyo, I'm Ms. Lee and I'll be your class adviser for this school year" she smiled at everyone. She walked around and said "I don't know a lot of you here... So starting from the front I want you to state your name" she pointed at the boy in front.

He stood up shouting "ANNEYEONG! I'm JIMIN" as you looked to your left you can see Yoona admiring him. Oh, she has a crush on him I think.

The next boy stood up and shouted as well. "I'm JUNGKOOOKKIIIEEEEE" This class is so active. You saw Kimchi blush and smile at him. Wow, these girls sure have a lot of crushes.

The next one was Taehyung. He stood up and tried to do aegyo "Anneyeong! I'm Taehyung" he did a peace sign and gave everyone his box smile. Cute 

As time goes by, it was suddenly your turn. You stood up slowly and saw that everyone was staring at you. You gulped and said "Anneyeonghaseyo. I'm Y/N" you sat down immediately after you said those words. No one seemed to care, even Taehyung was uninterested. Kimchi was the only one cheering for you. 

"Okay, class! we will do an activity to get to know each other better. Please share your likes and dislikes to each other and take turns okay? Uhm... your seatmates will be your partners. Time starts now" she half yelled at the class and started the timer. 

Taehyung was beside you. He kept looking at something but you didn't want to ask who. You tapped him and he came back to his senses and smiled. "OKAY! Y/N WHAT DO YOU LIKE?" he shouted. You shushed him and told him to be quiet. He just gave you his box smile and placed his chin on his hand gesturing you to tell him. 

"I like... studying, listening to music, and drawing," you said calmly. His eye widened and he made an o shape with his mouth. " YOU LIKE STUDYING?? WHAT?" he shouted. 

You couldn't really tell the reason why but it was because it takes your mind off things ...especially memories that kept haunting you at night. Your mother who kept verbally and physically abusing you. Even the littlest mistakes you make, and she would grab a wooden plank and... hit you. Although you can't tell that to someone you just met on the first day, actually, you can't really tell anyone about it. Listening to music and drawing was also a way to escape. Lyrics, especially to the ones you can relate with, can make you think that there are things that make you can make you happy in life. Which is why you like listening to pop more than slow types because it boosts your mood. Drawing is a way to express yourself in colors and you can draw what you feel like drawing without anyone judging you.

"uhh...yes?" you said to Taehyung. "BUT WHY?" 

"So I can become smarter?" you said thinking of excuses to hide the real reason why you do it. Plus learning new things especially about nature makes you think there much more things to enjoy and think about.

"Weird... OKAY, MY TURN" he said. His eyes suddenly looked at something but you didn't want to turn back cause you find it rude in a way. He shook his head and told you the typical things a guy would like (video games, basketball, music...etc). 

You nodded your head at the awkward situation and faced front. You've done your job and sketched. He tapped and gave you a smile, "how about you dislikes then?" he asked you. Your eyes widened, something about negative words makes you go back to those traumatizing memories. You spaced out for a while.

"HELLO? HELLO?" he kept waving his hand in front of you to get your attention. "Well?"

You closed your eyes and said "child abuse". "WOAH! POLITICAL!" he said. "Yeah nobody likes that, I heard about..." he told a story but you didn't bother to listen. This was true and it was your life. At least it got better thanks to your dad who was there for you. 

"TIME'S UP! HOPE YOU GUYS GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER! Class dismissed!" Ms. Lee said and left the classroom. Time for recess then.

You took your books and headed straight for your locker. While walking you see students, chatting, having fun, and basically things friends do. You placed your books inside your locker and walked to the park while holding your apple juice. 

You see in a distance Kimchi going to you with her two other friends. She waved at you and gave you a big smile. It made you smile in an instant. They all walked towards you and said their greetings. "HI AGAIN! GOSH CLASS WAS REALLY BORING I SWEAR!" Skye groaned.

"IKR! WHY CAN'T WE BE LIKE FINLAND! 3 HOURS OF SCHOOL" Kimchi frowned but she smiled after and swung her arm around you. "C'mon let's go!!!" she said as she started dashing to the canteen. Least I'm not alone. 

You all walked to the canteen, chitchatting, and laughing. When you entered, you felt all eyes on you four... even Taehyung was looking. You tucked your hair behind your ear and fixed yourself. You sighed. 

Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung walked towards you four. Taehyung started the conversation saying "wow, you look good Skye--er an-and Y/N" he gave you both a big smile and scratched his hair. You blushed a bit, although you tried not making it noticeable.

"As always," Skye said in a joking way and flipped her hair dramatically. We all laughed after that. They bought their food and we all walked to a table. Kimchi rushed and sat beside Jimin, it seemed really natural, though. Then, Yoona and Jungkook sat beside each other. Lastly, Taehyung was in between Skye and me. 

While chatting, Taehyung casually placed your arm around you and you became nervous. Your sweaty palms and beads of sweat started showing. First time... 

He turned to you and gave you a big smile. I think  I'm starting to like him... it's not bad, is it?
