"Aw crap." I sighed as I had to pay a fee on the monopoly game board.

"Sucks for you." Mon El laughed.

"My turn." Mon El said through his cell.

"I mean, please." He said as I rolled the dice and smiled at the number.

"And you're in jail." I laughed and he sighed.

"That feels appropriate." He said and I looked up at him and frowned.

"You'll be out of here soon enough, both of us will, so don't pout." I said and he stuck his bottom lip out and gave me puppy dog eyes.

I had something running through my mind after something my mom told me, I felt like it was the best chance right now, seeing he couldn't escape the question.

"Hey, you don't like me do you?" I asked and his face turned to confusion.

"Of course I like you." He said.

"No I mean that you don't like me, like me?" I asked and he got even more confused.

"Like you, like you?" He asked.

"Sorry, English is my second language." He smiled.

"My mom, y/m/n, sh-she thought you were being extra nice to her on Thanksgiving, it's like a thing that boys on this planet do, they're nice to moms of girls they have crushes on, sometimes." I stuttered then laughed.

"Crush? Sorry I'm not, I'm not following." He said and scratched his chin.

"You don't want to mate with me, do you?" I asked clarifying my confusing non sense.

He laughed and looked down, as I smiled waiting for his answer.

"Um, I mean have you seen the women I've been attracting? Earthlings and otherwise since I've been on this planet." He said and coughed a bit at the end.

I looked down and rolled the monopoly dice embarrassed.

"Thank you for the clarification." I said.

Mon El sucked in air sharply, sounding like he was being choked, he started to cough and my smile went away almost immediately.

"Mon El?" I cried quickly standing up and opening his cell, I bent down and grabbed him as he laid on the floor.

"Hey, hey!" I yelled and lifted him to me, he continued to cough.

"Hey, hey!" I said again as he was passing out.

"Stay with me, stay with me." I cried as he was unconscious.

"Help!" I screamed.
