"don't be so quick to
walk away."

My friends had convinced me to finally go to the club with them, I have to admit I felt free.

The alcohol has been taking off pressure and stress from work, I downed one shot after another.

The bass of the music shaking the building, people dancing on the dance floor, it was amazing, so many happy people in one building.

As I was about to tip my head back, downing who knows what number of shots I've had, my eyes locked with a man across room from me, a smirk grew on his beautiful face.

I quickly threw my head back, drinking the liquid, I got up from the counter and walked over to him, his eyes on me the entire time.

My heels clicked with each step I took, I remained confident as I stopped in front of him.

"I noticed you staring." I said, smirking, luckily the lights were different colors, strobing around the room, hiding the blush creeping to my cheeks.

"And I noticed you, beautiful." He complimented and I put my head down, smiling at the floor.

The next song was slower, it was perfect, the strobes died down, the lights dimming.

"dance with
          me?"

"Would you like to dance? I never got your name actually." He finished, holding out his hand, I held onto it.

"I would love to, I'm y/n." I said and headed to the middle of the floor with him, swaying bodies and couples around us.

"I'm Chris." He said and I nodded, he held onto my waist as we sway to the music, I wrapped my arms around his neck, hands moving towards his hair.

I placed my head on his shoulder, one hand on his bare neck, another on his shoulder, his scent was, intoxicating.

I wanted to stay like this forever, but I felt the song ended just as it begun, I wanted to keep my head on his shoulder, he was comforting.

"don't be so quick to walk away,
                dance with me."

Once the music became upbeat and loud again, we unattached our bodies and looking into each other's eyes.

"That was was very fun Chris, but I should get back to my friends." I said and began to turn around.

Just as I was going to walk away, he gently grabbed my hand.

"No, stay." He smiled, I smiled, I thought about if for a second, do they really miss me? probably not.

"Ok, I'll stay." I said and his smile grew.

We sat down and talk for what seemed like forever, I learned so many thing about him, him learning so many things about me, but he was far more interesting than me.

For instance, he was a popular actor, me? I did makeup for clients, which was still very fun, but some days people are just so annoying or rude.

"you should stay
                     the night."

"You know y/n, it's getting really late, would you like to stay the night, with me?" He asked, I blushed.

Maybe it I was the alcohol affecting me or maybe it was my heart, possibly both but I nodded.

I noticed he didn't have anything to drink other than a can of soda.

"Were you expecting this?" I asked him and he furrowed his eye brows in confusion.

"I mean all you've been drinking tonight is a soda." I said again and his eyes widened in realization.

"No, it's my friends birthday, I'm supposed to be the driver." He said and smiled.

"Then how is he supposed to get home?" I asked, I should probably stop asking questions.

"He'll call himself a cab, he's not dumb enough to get into a car, I hope." He said and turned around, looking towards his group of friends.

"I'm sure he's not, now let's get out of here." I whispered into his ear, putting my chin on his shoulder, lips a couple inches from his ear.

"Yes, yeah, definitely, let's go." He jumbled all the words, he grabbed my hands and lead me to his car, sweet baby jesus, it was beautiful, like him.

"I can't wait to have you,
in my arms."
