The wedding was beautiful, dimly lit with fairy lights spread across walls, hanging down to the floor, it all looked magical.

I was sitting in a chair next to Caroline, Alaric and Jo we're starting their vows, Jo began hers before she was cut off with a cough.

Jo's body jolting forward before everyone gasped at the sight of blood pooling on her stomach, her traditional white dress turning red.

Jo screamed out in pain before she fell forward in Alaric's arm, both of them falling to the ground, everyone stared at the scene in confusion, I looked at Caroline and she shook her head at me.

Then Kai, my boyfriend, appeared in front of Elena who was standing behind of Jo, she gasped and took a few steps back.

Kai's dad stood up and began to chant, Kai lifted his hand into the air, my ears and whole head began to pound, high pitched ringing in my head.

I gripped my head and fell to the floor, everyone screaming out in pain.

"Miss me?" Kai asked as everyone laid on the floor in pain.

"No?" He asked again before lifting his hand, which was holding a knife, pounding it, along with his body, all windows shattered.

Glass getting spit out everywhere, all the chandeliers fell from the ceiling, one landing dangerously close to me.

At first I didn't notice as I was worried with everyone else, but when I tried to get up, a sharp pain spread through my body.

I looked down at myself, a large piece of glass sticking out of my chest, I cried out in pain as I gripped it, trying to take it out, but I couldn't muster up enough energy to pull it out.

Caroline and Stefan were too worried with Elena, who wasn't waking up to notice my state, Damon grabbed Elena and ran out of the building, bringing her to a hospital.

Caroline and Stefan began to ask theirselves if she'll be fine before Kai came up from behind them, snapping both of their necks.

He looked around the room, grinning at all his work, before his eyes landed on me, I was staring right back at him with wide eyes, my mouth open like a fish out of water.

My chest was burning so bad, I could barely breathe, my whole body was shaking and my head began to spin.

Kai ran to me, he began to shake his head and cry.

"No, no, no." He cried and kneeled down to me, trying to figure out what to do.

"This wasn't supposed to happen!" He screamed and I jumped at the sudden loudness, making my head pound more.

"Here, let me help you." He said and I nodded.

He began to pull out the piece of glass, blood began to drain from the wound.

He quickly pulled it out entirely and pushed his hands against the wound, trying to make it stop from bleeding.

Like a switch he picked up his head and bit down on his wrist, he pressed it against my lips, the crimson liquid going down my throat in gulps.

Soon the pain started to subside, I looked down at my ruined clothes, I lifted my shirt to reveal nothing, not cut, nothing except for drying blood.

"Go home." He said and I let go of my shirt and looked up at him.

"But what about you?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Go home, it doesn't matter." He said and I nodded my head and went home.

I stayed up the whole night waiting for him to come back, but little did I know, Damon Salvatore killed him.
