where are they?- kai parker

He had just snapped, I went to my best friend, Kai's house to celebrate his and his sister, Josette's birthday, his parents leaving for the night to work, leaving Josette and his other siblings to watch his younger ones.

Of course they didn't trust Kai to do any helping around the house, Kai and Josette were supposed to merge, but they weren't ready for it, well Josette and their Coven weren't ready to have Kai as a leader.

They knew Josette was too weak to win a merge with Kai, besides, he was a siphoner, he would steal all of her magic, no matter what.

His parents didn't want them to merge, they wanted Lucas and Olivia to do the merge when they got older, the only other set of twins in the Parker family, when Kai found out, he wanted to kill them, everything in his way was to be destroyed, everything.

"Where are they Josette?" He said twisting the baseball bat in his hand, I had never seen him lash out like this before, it was unlike him, well to me.

He had already killed 4 of his siblings, I was afraid of him catching me, I didn't want to die, but I wasn't going to let anyone else die either.

Josette was laying in the hallway, a hunting knife plunged in her stomach, I quickly helped her take it out and find the twins, they hid under the bed, while I had to hide in the wardrobe.

She only had enough energy left to cloak the twins, I heard footsteps on the stairs, with each step I heard my breath began to become heavier.

I quickly placed my hand over my mouth as heard his footsteps come towards the bedroom we all hid in.

He sighed irritated and began to walk out the door, before he turned around and went over to the bed Josette was hiding under, pacing around it.

I watched through the crack in the wardrobe as he leaned down and flipped the bed, revealing only Josette holding her bleeding stomach.

"Where are they Josette?" He asked her and she shook her head.

"Where are they?" He screamed and quickly walked over to the wardrobe, whipping the door open to reveal me, my hand fell off my face and I let out a chocked sob, I was going to die.

He grabbed me by the arm and threw my body to the ground, he leaned down to me and a wicked smile pulled onto his face.

"Trying to help my sister?" He asked and I stared blankly at him, tears running down my cheeks.

"Naughty girl." He whispered as he grabbed the bloody knife from Josette's stomach earlier, he dragged the tip down my arm, leaving a long scratch that began to bleed, I cried out in pain, his smirk growing.

"If you're going to kill me, then do it." I told him and his face turned to shock before he regained himself.

"Kill me, Kai kill me!" I screamed and he jumped back before dropping the knife, he shook his head no.

"I can't, I'm not going to kill you y/n." He said and paced around the room, I quickly stood up and grabbed a lamp from the table before he saw me, smashing it over his head, knocking him out.

"Josette, get the kids and run!" I yelled at her and she quickly got out of the room, pulling the twins with her.

By the time Kai would wake up all three of them were long gone, probably going to get help, I sat on the ground next to Kai, making sure he couldn't leave when he woke up.

When Kai's parents got home, they were devastated to find half of their children dead, they were going to send Kai to the prison world, his own personal hell, this day.

I couldn't stop them and part of me felt as if he deserved it, no matter how close I was to him, he needed to go.
