Cover: I think your cover for this story is perfect since it is Historical Fiction. It's authentic and you kept it real. I can definitely appreciate that. Although, I do think it's a bit grainy, therefore, it needs to be a higher resolution. It also needs the title and your name on it.

Summary: I like your summary (even though my mac may have confused some of the english. Which is why this review is a bit difficult to write). It's short and straight to the point. It doesn't give away too much information, it gives just enough information to give the reader an idea of what the story is like.

What I liked: You kept it real. I liked that you changed what the narrator's mindset was going into the war to what it was presently in the story: survival. When I think of soldier's (from any nation) I think of men and women who risk their life for their country. Yet, when you speak to them later, after they have experienced war first hand. It's usually no longer about their country it's survival at that given moment. I liked that you kept that in there. I also liked that your first chapter didn't carry on for too long. It was straight to the point. Which is what most readers are looking for when they first read a novel.

Weakness: I can't really point out a lot of weaknesses because it was written in a different language. So I'm not too sure if the grammatical errors I saw were because of the language it was written in or just the translator. But I did notice quite a bit of dialogue. So maybe add more detail to the chapter to give the readers more of what Sigmund's thoughts are about the war and being sent to Berlin.

Overall: I liked what you had. It grabbed my attention and left me questioning. Good luck with your upcoming chapters.
