You and your boyfriend Austin had been fighting for months now and you didn't know why. You two would be perfectly fine one minute and the next you would be yelling at eachother.
You had just come home from a bad day at school hoping you could just sit down and relax. You placed your bag in your shared bedroom with Austin and headed into the kitchen to get something to eat. You had just put your pizza in the microwave when Austin came in.
"Hey babe how was your day " you said looking over to the entrance of the kitchen that he had just come through. He just nodded his head and grabbed a bottle of water before leaving the room.
"Thanks for the reply" you mumbled under your breath so only you could here it. The microwave dinged so you grabbed your pizza and quickly ate it before heading to your room to do your homework. Just as you were about to enter the room you heard Austin talk.
" No I'm not doing that so get over it now I've got to go bye" he harshly spoke into his phone. Once he put his phone down you walked into the room and grabbed your bag.
" Is everything ok" you said stopping in the hallway. He just looked up at you and shook his head.
"Look you don't have to tell me what's wrong but you could at least say something to me" you said to hi as he just played on his phone.
"Austin" you yelled as he looked up at you.
"What" he yelled back causing you to frown.
"Why are you being such an ass all I asked was how was your day and if you were okay and you didn't even look at me or respond you just shook your head" you yelled at him.
"Shaking my head is still responding and maybe I just wasn't in the mood to talk so give it a break" he yelled back at you as you dropped your book bag onto the floor.
"Who the hell are you, your not the same Austin I know and fell in love with months ago" you said your voice cracking at the end as tears welled up in your eyes. You didn't want to cry but you knew that it was bound to happen.
" I'm the same person I was then who's to say you haven't changes I mean god only knows what you do" Austin scuffs as he lays back on the bed.
"What's that supposed to mean" you said back causing him to chuckle and sat up.
"You know what (y/n) I don't want to do this now" he said sighing out. You just looked at him in shock.
"Figures you would just stop there" you mumbled grabbing your book bag.
"What did you say" he said looking up at you. You just shook your head giving him a taste of his own medicine.
"I know you said something so might as well say it out loud" he said even louder than the last time.
"Nothing Austin I just think instead of bottling up your problems you should let them out" you said still standing in the doorframe.
"Who do you are thinking that you know everything about me when in all reality you know nothing about me" he yelled the tears that where brimming your eyes just minutes ago sliding down you cheeks as you brushed them away.
"Well since I know nothing about you why do you waste your time with me huh" you yelled back anger rising through your body.
"I-I" Austin stuttered not bothering to look at you anymore.
"Exactly" you said walking out of the room and out of the house. You walked to the library to get your homework done and to get some space between you and Austin.
You had been at library for about two hours before packing up and heading back to the house. When you got home all of the lights were off so you had assumed that Austin was out seeing how it was only eight. You walked back into the room and dropped your bag onto the floor and turning on your light to find Austin in the same spot you had left him in.
"Where were you" he asked not looking up at you.
"I went out for a little bit like you actually care" you said mumbling the last part hoping he wouldn't hear.
"I do care" he said looking up at you.
"Well you don't seem to be showing it" you said looking over at Austin causing him to sigh.
"Come here" he said holding out his arms for you to come sit with him which you gladly did.
"Look I'm sorry I've been a little rude and messed up lately and I have no explanation for it but I truly am sorry" He said wiping away the few tears that had just escaped your eyes.
"I'm not supposed to make you cry unless they are tears of joy" he said looking into your eyes.
"I'm sorry too Austin I shouldn't have pushed you" you spoke up causing him to smile.
"So I'm forgiven" he said looking at you as you nodded.
"I love you" he said causing you to smile lightly.
"I love you too Austin" you said as he lightly pecked you on the lips. You two spent the rest of the night talking and making up.
