Your pov
"I can't take this anymore"you said as you flopped down on your best friend Austin's bed.
"You and Ryan got into another fight" he asked as he walked over and sat next to you.
"Yes" you said with a sigh. Austin pulled you into his arms just like he has every time you and Ryan got into a fight.
"And it's all over me being friends with you" you say as you rest your head on his lap. He moves his hands to your hair playing with it.
"Didn't you two already have this argument" he asked still running his fingers through your hair.
"Yes, but he insists that you and I are secretly hooking up behind his back and when I told him you don't even like me like that" you say letting a sigh escape your lips. You looked up at Austin who was staring at the wall ahead.
"What did he say after you said that" he asked looking down at you.
"He basically that if I weren't with him I would be with you and that it would be a step down from our relationship" you said earning a chuckle from Austin.
"Why is that funny" you asked giving him a confused look. He just shook his head and told you to 'continue'.
Austin's pov
I nodded my head and told her to continue what she was saying.
"It's just he doesn't understand that what we have is a friendship type relationship and that it is a ridiculous for him to think that we would be anything more than that" she said sighing again. I didn't think us dating would be that ridiculous. I mean if anything I think it's a great idea.
"What did you say"she said looking up at me. Did I really just say that out loud?
"I didn't say anything" I said with a nervous chuckle at the end.
"Ye you did you said something about being ridiculous and great idea" she said sitting up.
"Oh no I just never mind" I said looking back over at the wall. She would never understand if I told her how I felt about her and she wouldn't dump her ass of a boyfriend for me either. So it was best I kept my feelings to myself even if I knew I was in love with her.
"Austin come on tell me we are best friends" she said standing up and walking between my legs and wrapping her arms around my neck. To her these little things mean nothing but to me it means a lot.
"It's nothing (y/n)" I say wrapping my arms around her waist.
"It's obviously something Austin so tell me" she said. I looked up at her noticing we were only a few inches apart. her eyes twinkled as she looked down on me and I knew it was now or never.
"I'm going to tell you this only once and I want you to listen but only listen" I said and she just nodded.
"(Y/n) ever since the day we first met I couldn't get you out of my head. You were always so loving and happy and caring and...." I was cut off my her saying my name.
"Let me finish"i said still looking down before reconnecting my eyes with hers.
"And I felt like it would always be me and you against the world but then you got a boyfriend and I just completely fell apart because I knew I had blown my chance and every time he did you wrong I felt like I had a chance but you always went back" I said taking a breath.
"And I know your with him now but I can't help but think that we would be better together and that I would treat you way better than him" I said still looking at her.
Your Pov
"I could treat you way better than him" he said not breaking eye contact. You didn't know what to say or think all you knew was you were completely confused.
"Can you please say something" Austin said tightening his grip around your waist. Still confused and speechless you directed you gaze to Austin's walls.
"Come on (y/n) don't do that" Austin wined still holding you.
"Just talk to me please I mean I basically just put all of my feelings out there and I would really like for you to talk to me" he said reaching up and turning your head to face him. You looked into his eyes and you saw it all. The pain, love, and every emotion he has ever felt.
"Austin" you started. " I never knew that you had felt that way and if you had said something sooner we wouldn't be in this situation because trust me I had loved you for the longest time and I wanted you to love me so bad but I didn't think you did so I tried to move on with Ryan" you said with a big sigh looking away from Austin again.
"So what do you want to do about this" you said referring to the two of you.
"Kiss me" he said pulling you closer to him. You turned to look back at the boy in front of you.
"But I only want you to kiss me if you want to" he said looking you dead in the eye. He watched you intently as you stood there. You moved your hand from his shoulder to his cheek lightly cupping it. He leaned into your touch slowly closing his eyes and smiling. You moved your hand to his lips slowly brushing over them before sliding it down his chest. Austin leaned up to you attaching his forehead yours. He breathed out and the air hit your lips. You closed your eyes and leaned in only stoping before your lips touched Austin's.
"Don't be scared" he said. His lips barely brushing yours as he spoke. You smiled at him before leaning the rest of the way in and attaching your lips to his in a sweet kiss. You pulled away after a short time and looked at Austin.
"So what do we do now" you asked after a few minutes of quiet.
"Well one of two things can happen" Austin said pausing as you nodded for him to continuer.
"One is you break up with your boyfriend and fall in love with me or we just pretend this never happened" Austin said as he adjusted his grip on your waist.
"I know what I want to do" you said nodding your head at him.
"What's that" he said watching you intently. You smiled at him and leaned in reconnecting your lips. It wasn't hard for you to deny that you had always had feelings for Austin and that that would never change so why fight them anymore.
"I want you" you said in between kisses.
"I love you" Austin said pulling away from you.
"I love you too" you said with a huge smile on your face and from that day on you and Austin stayed together with no problems.

So sorry this too a while but I've been a bit busy but I'll probably have you guys a new one tomorrow because it's a holiday and my family doesn't do much on these days.
